Your a far braver fan than me.I personally would much rather play the Warriors in the first round. Not only would they be great games to watch but the Mike Brown and Vivek relation to the Warriors can be put to rest quickly. Especially when we win the series.
Not to get ahead of the moment but I really want to win the first round with this talk of teams thinking were going to be an easy win.
Same, or I'd be content as to face the Warriors or the Lakers first stop.I refuse to try to handpick our matchup. I am worried about star whistles harming us. If we got to play a small market team I think that's best for us - unfortunately MN is the most likely smaller market and their lineup gave us fits this year. In an evenly officiated series I'd take us against any of the CA teams right now but unfortunately I don't trust that to happen.
Anyways, all the teams gunning for 6 are doing so to avoid the play in. Don't hear about 4/5 seeds trying to play down to 6, do you?
I don't think anybody believes that the Kings will be an easy opponent. Just that it's their choice of matchup, instead of Denver, Memphis, and Phoenix
Denver and Memphis are also regularly being disrespected, the big difference there is you gotta play the play-in and probably beat the Lakers and one other team to qualify. Let's see what happens the final game of the season if anyone suggests the 5 seed lose to get us.I don't think anybody believes that the Kings will be an easy opponent. Wolves at Suns too close to call @ 3Q
May as well root for the Wolves at this point.

I think, technically, any tie with Memphis goes to the Kings. Since Memphis has 48 wins, the worst possible record we can have in a tie with Memphis is 48-34. In contrast, Phoenix already has 35 losses, so their best possible record is 47-35. So there is no possibility where we can tie Memphis and lose the pacific. So in reality, we own all relevant tiebreakers with Memphis.
And Mike Browns ability to make adjustments along with this staff + the willingness to try a guy like Alex Len out when we need it and the way our guys bounce back after tough losses, that really bodes well for postseason basketball. Yes, we have holes, but we absolutely can win a first round series and i really feel we will. Not to get ahead of the moment but I really want to win the first round with this talk of teams thinking were going to be an easy win.
We're in 3rd place for a GD reason, and it's because we are good.
We don't collapse in the 3rd anymore, in fact owning the 2nd half of games is our calling cards.
We don't have the same locker room nd coaching, we have direction and leadership, we can adjust.
We have actual NBA talent and not guys that will be gone from the league as soon as they leave.
Analysis on a potential Warriors-Kings matchup and why "everyone wants to play Sacramento Kings". Don't know why, but I want Warrions (with healthy Andrew Wiggins) in first round
He’s a walking talking joke and his comment deserves no further attention unless it’s for laughter. He’s really going to mention the Kings, in a game they won, and this being a team that hasn’t sniffed playoffs in ages? And he doesn’t even mention the Lakers who have shot like 200 more free throws than the next closest team (which is us)!! 200! It’s like getting 2 games worth of offense as an added bonus. What an advantage.I'm not sure where to leave this, here seems good?
