really happy they won but I feel quite sorry for Salmons. IMO Mikki should have played way less and Bibby and Artest shouldn't have chucked up so many shots but oh well it was still a much better team today than against toronto.

The thing i LOVE about this EXCITING win tonight was the fact that we played through absolutely awful officiating.

The joy of being a fan, or at least fan as defined in my way, is to be near death in discouragement after one cruddy game - ready to disembowel the entire team in seppuku - and to have a 180 degrees turn a few days later.

I prefer the latter.

Go Kings!

Gotta love it! :D

DEVASTATING BENCH!

I don't ever remember an NBA team with this much fire-power available off the bench. Maybe during the Celtics 8 straight NBA championships 1959-66 with John Havlicek, Satch Sanders, Frank Ramsey and the Jones' (Sam & K.C.) when one wasn't starting.

WOW!! AMAZING KINGS BENCH!!

I remember that team well and it was frightening to play. It shows how much individuals will swallow their egos when coached by one of the greatest coaches of all time and maybe more importantly, they won over and over and over!

Don Nelson was in there somewhere, wasn't he?

I think so. I could have also thrown in John Thompson who was Bill Russell's back up. But the ones I named I believe were the main Celts bench mob during their 8 straight titles.

Again, for me the point is this Kings bench is simply devastating - or certainly appears to be.

ok you old people need to talk about something some of us younger folk would remember. :p

Theus keeps impressing me, i hope he is here a very long time, they even brought him up during the espn game, tossed around the word coach of the year, he is defiantly in the running.

Great win! My only beef is why the hell do you keep playing Mikki Moore. I just don't get it. He plays 33 minutes and gets 5 rebounds and he must have put butter on his hands because he kept fumbling the ball. :rolleyes:

I'm glad someone else notices this. Follows up a 2 reb performance against Toronto and a 3 reb performance against Dallas. Meanwhile 2 guards outrebound him in all 3 games.

My mom said it as well as I did when we were watching the game. Salmons didn't look like a happy guy tonight. He didn't play like he was in a good mood. I'm telling you all, Salmons mood affects his game in such a big way. More so than any other player that I have seen recently. You can totally tell when he isn't feeling happy.

Since returning K-Mart is averaging a shade over 29 minutes per game, and putting up the following numbers;
27.5ppg 4.0rpg 1.5spg 0.75apg
37 of 54 for 68.5%fg - 7 of 12 for 58.3%3pt - 29 of 32 for 90.6ft% (getting an avg of 8 free throw attempts per game in a few seconds over 29 minutes per contest)

:eek::eek::eek:

Salmons never looks happy. He's a lot like KT.

One more useless stat..

The Kings now have 7 players that average double digit scoring per contest. :D

I know I know... Bibby only has two games under his belt. Goes to show how many capable scorers we have so it's not a huge deal if we traded a couple **hint - hint - poke - ahem Geoff Petrie**

Salmons could have easily come in for Ron and jacked up 7 three's too, he just plays smarter than that.
oh really? salmons drives into traffic most of the time with one thing in mind, score. what is the damn difference here? Artest gets alot more criticism then deserved and it makes me sick. Salmons is a ball hog just as much as anyone on this team buddy, he is apart of our iso problem.
