Starter
So, the mighty giant killer Pacers (defeated both Boston and L.A.) against our struggling King's team. Expect Danny Granger to tear us up on the offensive end, and interestingly enough, Roy Hibbert is a starter for the Pacers and has been playing well. That is, if he can stay away from hacking Brad, resulting in their demise from our stripe :).

Not a marquee matchup, but a winnable game. One of the few.

Let's see if Martin starts and returns to potent efficient scorer form. Hopefully the guys can develop some chemistry and consistency with a good win.

Hibbert looks good in the first quarter, on both ends of the floor.

Martin doing a good job of being active on offense, passing and not rushing too much. He's still missing a little of bounce in his step.

It looks like this will be a pretty high-scoring game. Fun to watch no matter who wins!

Good start for Martin and Brad.

Brad: 7 points (3/5), 3 boards, 1 assist
Martin: 6 Points (2/4), 1 board, 3 assists, 1 steal

On the downside (though not surprising on the road):
Mikki: 2 points, 0 boards in 10 minutes....

Scott Polard is on right now. Unless the Kings pull away with a win, this should be the highlight of the game.

Comcast SportsNet California. 698 on direct TV. Scott was just on for the first half though.

Well, a 'no-defense' first half.

Just perfect for the Kings and especially for Martin who is probably having his best game of the season so far. We'll see if he disappears in the 2nd half or not.

Martin: 25 points (7/11), 2 boards, 5 assists, 1 steal

Miller: 10 points, 7 boards, 2 assists.

Mikki: 3 points and 0 boards in 21 minutes. Yay....

JT: Only 9 minutes. *sigh* 4 points, 2 boards
Very frustrating his lack of minutes here.

BB: 7 minutes, not much production.

Donte: No minutes so far....

I thought this game started at 4 can't believe i missed a good chunk of Pollard. Still my favorite Kings player. Pollard and Kevin going off, best 10 minutes of Kings basketball i have seen all year.

Well the good news is that Natt has officially killed his coaching career. That brings some joy to me. Natt is such a fool!!!! by starting and playing Mikki Freak'n Moore over JT no GM will ever trust Natt's ability to understand a teams long term goals or even and most importantly give his team the best chance to win by PLAYING THE BETTER PLAYERS OVER THE NOT SO TALENTED PLAYERS!

really? that's the only good news you're taking from this game?

A fun game! Salmons might lose it for us again though with some bad plays down the stretch...

I think Beno is in Natt's dog house. He was MIA in the second half.

Very well could be. But Bobby Jackson also outplayed all the PGs today with his 15 points (5/10), 10 boards, 5 assists, 1 steal, 1 block, 0 TOs, and steady defense.

I do wish we could get some more minutes for Bobby Brown, but as it seems he's the third option, it's really difficult when Bobby Jackson is playing so well.
Bobby Brown didn't get any time in the 2nd which is frustrating, and once JT picked up his 5th foul (at the 7 minute mark of the 4th) we went small ball for the rest of the way.

Like our options at the point are any better?

Jackson is fun to watch for memory sake...But he's old and inconsistent.
Then Bobby Brown who's probably nothing more than Ronnie Price was for us. We 'like' him, but is he really that good?

Id rather keep Beno out there until we have a clearly better option. I dont want to ruin whats left of his confidence/drive by benching him.
Lest we forget we have him for 5 years now?

...
...

Our team is such a freakin' trainwreck.

How can the ones who want us to lose for a better pick possibly be happy? I understand we are getting closer and closer to a top 3 pick in a crap draft and thats good and all...but if we are going to lose why aren't we playing the young guys? Bobby Browne played like 5 minutes, Greene's 4th dnp in a row, and Moore played just as much as Thompson. I am NOT happy and you shouldn't be either. On top of that, we aren't learning ANYTHING as a team. John Salmons has to go. He's a good player, but along with Brad Miller, is one of the worst "enders" on the floore. He makes selfish, dumb deciscions that cost us games. I swear to god, Miller and Salmons better not be on our team after the trade deadline, Beno is growing closer to that point in my mind as well.
