Hall of Famer
Let me start with a new word that should be in every dictonary.

Kingslike - it is an adjective that is used to exactly describe mental breakdowns or a chronical chocking conditions. Basically, the closer You think You are the further away You get. Once You have it - there is no cure. Sorry.

Seriously, the beloved Kings fans should not think that this town or the franchise is cursed. It is the personal. Starting with the coach and including everybody else. No exceptions.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Let me get back to Minessota. They OWN us. Tottaly, compleatly, utterly. Even on the "who is Your daddy" level.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Pacers will lose tonight. Kings will go on a 8 game winning streak which will be broken when we face the Spurs. After that the long winning streaks will become rarity. Yes, we are 13-6. We beat teams we are supposed to beat. If we continue to do so we will have a great record. Been there - done that 6 years in the row and counting - You got the picture.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

There is no need to break down tonights game. Pacers have no inside presence and that is that.
I do have soe suggestions what might be usefull to do:
*Sit out CW tonight - not because of performances. His knee concernes me more and more. I am not sure how serious it is but it looked bad last night.
*Pedja could use a DNP - coach decision. Just to see how much he cares.
*Mike should get "JW 4th quarter treatment" more often. One could bring him in for the last offensive possesion if needed.

Suggestions what should never be done again:
*Small lineup we had last night. There are many words to describe it but this is a "family site."
*Do not play Bobby, Mike and CW together at the same time unless they change the rule and allow playing with multple balls. One ball is not enough
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Go Clippers !

I think you should add Piksism instead.

Oh, it can be cured. The question is whether it can be cured by this playing and coaching staff or with fresh blood. I want this group to do it and I still believe in them.

Maybe not cursed, but definetly unlucky. Horry's three, Webb's injury...

I certainly never hated laker's players as I hate Wolves players. It's like they have five Rick Fox' playing at all times... I kind of feel ashamed of myself how resentfull I get.

Nothing worng with that - if or when we find the extra gears for play-offs. Us beating on lesser terams is meat and potatoes for any franchise. Now if we discover recepy for gravy... ;)

I would still have him suit up even if he plays minimal minutes.

As opposed to DNP - players decision? ;) I'll buy that.

Didn't RA try that over and over again in the previous years?

It's embarassing how well it works our for Dallas, Suns and Sonics (Sonics played radmanovic at 5 against the Spurs down the stretch!!!) and our guys cannot pull it off.

First, I believe you mean "choking" and not "chocking" AND "personnel" and not "personal." You might want to use that dictionary yourself.

Second, this is ridiculous. Why is it that you are here on a KINGSFAN site if you think so little of the team?

Mental breakdowns and chronic choking conditions? How about they simply lose a game once in a while? From what I've heard, pretty much EVERY single bleeping team in the league does it...

Yes!

oh yeah and...i agree with you Bozzwell on the whole hating the twolves thing...now i know obviously most kings fans would...but right now in my mind the kings vs wolves rivalry is bigger than the kings vs lakers rivalry...AND i actually think i would still be saying that even if all of the Lakers pieces didn't crumble (ie: Shaq leaving)

ive always had a "no opinion" comment when it came to the wolves...but now...i have the "i f***ing hate the wolves" comment

any you who

go kings beat the pacers!! woot woot!!

If we beat the Spurs, it'll settle down a lot of people. Like Yao Ming says, Fans and Critics are as fickle as ocean waves. I base my opinions on prior history, but hey... I've got too much bias to not hope that a win against the Spurs indicates some kind of improvement. Suddenly, the here and now would become more important to me and I'll conveniently forget some stuff...

how depressing piksi, even by your standards!!!

well it's the JV team. i agree with webber's knee. i worry about it. look at allan houston, he's been having knee soreness for a long time. it's probably something we should come to expect from time to time unfortunatly. thats just the way it goes with knees sometimes :(

the kings should beat the pacers, and it should be good, but you never know. the pacers are at home, and they've played much better at home with the JV team. miller is back....

GO KINGS!!!! BEAT THE PACERS!

i do have to say piksi your opening comments is a total downer

::sigh::

Sorry, but the last quarter was a dejavu of the worst things that happened to Kings in the last 6 years. Every tie tttthe hopes het up - such a game occurs which is frustrating

So you're basically saying you lose faith at every little setback? ;)

Come on, piksi... Life (and basketball) are full of ups and downs. If you give up at the first sign of difficulty, you miss out on a lot of challenge down the road...

:D

Losing is a setback and will happen about 15-20 times more this season. Losing like this is something else. IT HAPPENS OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN

"Losing like this" happens whenever a team comes from behind and beats another team. It's all a matter of perspective. But, whatever. I'm not going to continue to try and convince you the glass is half-full. You enjoy watching the Kings your way; I'll enjoy watching them mine.

GO KINGS!!

GD***it!!!! The game is on NBATV but it is blacked out for me. Indianapolis is a 4 hr drive from here. You mean I am too close to watch a game on TV? I am expected to go to the arena?

ACK!!!!!!!!

It was not listed on Fox, however, I scrolled through the Fox channels (I have the SportsPak on my Dish) and found it on Fox Alt 2. Woohoo! Thanks, piksi!

Okay, I'm breaking a self-imposed rule here (I don't usually post to defend a particular player) but what was it that started the Mike-Bibby-is-a-ball-hog trend?

Now, admittedly, I have a weird mother-hennish desire to protect Mike (don't know why, but he gets the same reaction from me as puppies and cute kids) so I could be biased, but I just don't see it.

I did, however, see Mike wide open and not getting the ball. Tonight and last night. But, again, maybe I'm biased.

some people say mike doesn't pass the ball to peja.. i know that he rarely passes it to peja, too, but not because he's a ball-hog.. brick had a very well put response to those people who think mike just doesn't pass to peja because he prefers webb more.. it was something like mike passes it to webb first almost everytime because in our system, our big men initiate it.. peja does not initiate and cannot create our offense..
