Barnes 0-5 on some that he normally makes with a missed foul call. If Harrison Jordan of late shows up this isn’t close but we can’t count on his appearances every night

I know Holmes isn't playing up to his standard but some of ya need to lay it off and be fair. It's easy to look at our shiny new Ferrari doing fancy things and compare it with your ever-reliable V8 work truck. He hasn't had the best of luck dealing with injury and COVID, and personal issues.
Trying to be fair, but dude getting outplayed by a dude who just came out of retirement.

Fox 2-4 from 3
Davion 3-5 from 3.

Great sign for dudes who "cant shoot"
And 21 shots w/0 assists between them. Thrown in DD and it's 27 shots - 60% of the team's total from the guards who've been dominating the ball handling. Vs. 18 for the other 6 guys who've played.

Yes, the Kings' shooting sux, but the handlers have to do a better job getting other guys some shots.

He's got weaknesses, but with a team with this much around both Fox and Sabonis, they'll get used to the feeling of not being on an island, haha.
Yeah, Sabonis doesn't have a huge wingspan nor could he jump out of the gym, but his physicality (he is sneakily strong and bruising for his smaller body frame) and his positioning often help him be in the right place at the right time. He ain't getting chase down blocks but he did have a sneakily quick pass interception earlier with Seth trying to pass inside to Drummond in the first half.

pretty sure Nash playing for Gentry has something to do with the low assist amount.

Kingster

Hall of Famer
Fox needs to start the 2nd half with some defensive energy. To me, he has a bad habit of starting slow on D, thinking he can turn it on the end and still win. The Kings will get burned if he continues with that approach.

Eh, I’d say the same thing outside of the game thread. Good Barnes is really good. But he disappears and just returns to a solid piece which isn’t great as your #3
A Barnes disappearance isn’t a Buddy disappearance altho I agree he’s not someone who you want in a position where you need 20 from him to win. need to be plenty of other places to get scoring from and guys who can go off. But he’s pretty reliable for at least 10-15 and is good for these insane hot streaks which I’m mostly okay with as a number 3
