Assists disappeared tonight. Good teams going to pack the paint n take away easy assists until the Kings can make their threes.

Checking in on the 5 role guys who shot 12-23 vs the Wiz from 3:

Harkless: 0-1
Holiday: 1-6
Mitchell: 3-6
DDV: 2-6
Metu: 1-3

Total: 7-22 for 31%.


Add in 2-10 from Sabonis/Fox/Barnes with Barnes playing his worst game in a month. Easy to see why the offense cratered.

Brown and Curry killed us this game. Needed to stick Davion one one. Harkless and Holiday got smoked... neither added nothing this game.

It kind of is what it is. This is why earlier in games Gentry needs to keep going to Fox in the middle pnr if that's all he's got. Wait for the defense to start playing all the way towards De'Aaron and the options will open up for the other guys. This team has way more defense capable players, better post option play, more size, etc. but they don't have the explosive scoring like they used to.

I’m ready for Donte to start. As much as I like him and Davion being on the floor at the same time.

We need atleast one of him or Davion on the floor at all times. We kept getting torched by Seth Curry with the starting lineup on the floor. That would be understandable if he wasn’t their number 1 option going into this game rather than living off the attention star players get. They can keep Holiday in the starting lineup if they must. Harkless is too feast or (Mostly)famine and i haven’t really observed his defense making up for it.

It happens. The question now is how do they respond? This is going to be an uphill battle. The only bad thing about the trades coming so late is time is short. Jerry Reynolds doesn't even expect this team to make the play in this year. The Pelicans are up and have like 5 more home games.
