Like I've said, I really like Luka's craftiness but he's currently playing at two-packs-a-day Vlade levels of physical fitness.

Bjelica defensively had a lot to do with that close to the quarter. He had a few huge defensive plays at the rim. He’s actually a pretty good interior defensive player though understandably has trouble on switches. Dude would’ve been an all star 15 years ago.

The game plan for second half should be clear. Attack Luka. He has no conditioning and is about as tough as a wet paper towel. He’s good but he clearly relies on the refs for calls. He’s getting the star treatment already, but we can attack him where he’s weak.

He also puts in the effort on D, but if you go at him, he won't hold up. Easier to exploit something like that in a playoff series.

Jackson is just way more assertive than he was at the start of the season. He used to just float through games, not really doing anything. Now his confidence is building and he is actually trying to impact the game. I'm still not sold on him but it's great to see the improvement and I'd love for him to prove me wrong.

Glad to hear it. I'm not watching the game but I see he's getting a bit of decent press lately. Hope he's picking it up because Joerger seems intent on playing him.

It seems that the cause-and-effect on that is reversed. Joerger is playing him because he has picked up his game and is now a legit rotation player. Good for Justin. I have faith based on his body of work at UNC that now that he has adjusted to the NBA he will keep it up.

Doncic having to do all the playmaking is why i said Barea not being there is a big deal. Barea is their creator off the bench and when Luka plays with him he plays off ball. Having to do more playmaking with DSJ/Barea out + the Kings pace should make his shot come up short later in the game.

Kings can't rebound and if they do get the rebound, they can't secure it for long. Vlade needs to work the phones for a big who can rebound man, this is getting ridiculous.
