If this is the kind of games we're going to have to watch all season, our next draft pick better be something for the ages. Even "purple to the bone" Kings fans are going to have trouble finding something/anything positive out of games like last night. We looked like very young children trying to compete against the Spurs. And if it weren't for Gregg Popovich, who actually ended up playing some guys who didn't even know they were on the Spurs roster, it could have been much, much worse.
But hope still springs eternal. Hope, crossed fingers, lighted candles, purple slippers, and anything else that might bring some luck to the Kings.
