OMG. We'd see Jerry's head explode... :)

Seriously, I wouldn't have a problem with that at all.

What would he talk about and I'd be very curious as to how he explained this especially if the team does better. The latter is the important factor.

From the movie "Miracle" (the 1980 Olympic hockey team):
Coach Herb Brooks: You think you can win on talent alone? Gentlemen, you don't have enough talent to win on talent alone.

Malone could learn some things from the late Coach Brooks.

Malone's biggest problem IMHO is that he's too open with his feelings/comments after the game. I think he would love to shake things up more, but cannot because there are a couple of players who need to be showcased if they're going to be moved before the trade deadline. That goes on with every team in the league, but it has to be incredibly frustrating to Malone right now because it goes against his whole philosophy. That's why he called himself out first for being a hypocrite.

First year coach... you live and learn, just like anything else

I don't see why we can't play Ray and Jimmer as our back court in smaller lineups and move McLemore to the 3. Gay at the 4 and Acy at the 5.

Jerry: "And, of course, we've known all along that Jimmer and Ray would make the perfect backcourt combo. Malone just had to work with them to get them ready."

Grant: "Of course, Jerry. You've said that all along, right? Didn't we talk about that on the plane?"

Jerry: "Well, Grant, Mrs. Reynolds would certainly agree."

That hasn't happened in a long time. In fact, I see more comments ABOUT the "Jimmer fanboys" than I do FROM the "Jimmer fanboys."
Yeah....probably right but being a smart aleck towards a few guys who want to see Ray get an opportunity is that necessary is it? I mean ....try something different. Play Ben with IT, play IT less, play Ray with Jimmer, do something different.....can not stand trying the same thing over and over when its ineffective.

Oh, now that's funny.

Maybe if he'd have kept his dad Brendon Malone on staff such matters might have been handled better - we'll never know. Plus, never heard why his assistant dad was dumped or just left on his own.

Okay, I don't get the whole Pizza Guys thing - someone drop me a pm with an explanation?

IT has a contract with the Pizza Guy franchise. Commercials show constantly ... And he's referred to as THE Pizza Guy. Jerry adapted it as one of his pet names for IT, along with Hustlin' Husky.

Id like Rudy to be dominant on the boards, or abover average like he was pre sacramento. Other than that his game is nice now

Grant: Here comes Thomas...he's got Thornton with him...but he doesn't need him.

Yes, IT made the point. But, the bigger point, the one Grant brushes aside continually, is that it doesn't matter if you run the court with IT. Once he's locked on target, you will NEVER get the ball. Ever. Not in a million years.

I think he dominated the boards while he was in Toronto because they lacked rebounders and he was forced to. He doesn't have to do it here because we already have pretty good rebounders in DMC and JT

If IT missed it, they wouldn't care...imagine if Cuz missed it... it would be on their personal highlight reel of disappointing plays by Cuz.

Nope. Never.

Usually Jerry says something like "Well they didn't stop the ball" or something to that effect. This is after instead of giving a teammate a dunk he takes it himself. Happens 1-3 times a game I'd say.
