I'll believe it when I see it. Nothing this year has given me the impression he can play solid defense. But if coach says so it must be true.
You don't get it. We have to bench Jimmer because coach said McCallum deserves more time.

And there is the consequence of leaving bench players in there against Dirk/Ellis. The game is getting ugly
A couple of people want to see Ray play.....why can't you just let them vent? It's not like its the Jimmer fanboys who will fill pages talking about Jimmer.

I haven't had a chance to watch the game until right now, and I haven't looked over the comments in here, but I was listening to the game on the way home and was disappointed to hear Malone say that there would be no changes tonight. I like Malone, like I've said before I think he's clearly the best coach we've had since Rick, but he can't keep coming out and calling out players in the media and then playing the same players again and again. At least try to change up the starting lineup if someone isn't bringing effort and hustle on the D side. He just can't keep complaining at the end of the game that someone doesn't try and then put him back in the starting lineup the next game.

McCallum is eventually going to start getting minutes somewhere (probably situational).... but problem is, while McCallum has shown some signs of being facilitate in his limited time, big question is who generates the offense on the bench... Thats why for now Jimmer gets the nod.

Malone will probably wait until half, chew out the team in locker room for probable huge deficit and then finally bring out McCallum for 2nd half. Stupid!
Malone's biggest problem IMHO is that he's too open with his feelings/comments after the game. I think he would love to shake things up more, but cannot because there are a couple of players who need to be showcased if they're going to be moved before the trade deadline. That goes on with every team in the league, but it has to be incredibly frustrating to Malone right now because it goes against his whole philosophy. That's why he called himself out first for being a hypocrite.

I agree 100%. I just feel like he needs to be a little more careful because honestly, we were expecting to win much this year, so more loses are obviously on their way so if he's already called out the team several times directly to the media and the season is barely 1/2 over now, what if it gets worse?
That hasn't happened in a long time. In fact, I see more comments ABOUT the "Jimmer fanboys" than I do FROM the "Jimmer fanboys."
OMG. We'd see Jerry's head explode...
Seriously, I wouldn't have a problem with that at all.

Anything that gets Jimmer and Ray on the court and saves IT's worn out body until his shot comes back is OK with me.
