[Game] Kings @ Mavericks - 12/10/12

The good: Cuz's offense
The Bad: Our bench essentially let the Mavs play 5 on 0 for half a quarter

Cuz has 4 rbds all of which are offensive - this is a followup to the Moses Malone discussion.

But he has had 3-4 solid boxouts on Kaman where Kaman just slapped the ball forward out of Cousins' hands and it went to Thompson or someone else.

Time to start calling for . . .

Not upset at all that I can't watch this game.

Just got home to watch the game. I really miss Reke now. I bet he would of at least held Mayo to 5 points instead of 16. I hope he plays on Wednesday

Maybe Mayo is just a better player than MT

He is, but doesn't mean MT couldn't pattern his game more off Mayo, who's become a better all around player and not strictly a jump shooter, which is kind of what MT has become, whereas towards the end of the 10-11 season he was a better all around player.

Thornton and Mayo have also had a role reversal in the aforementioned time frame: Thornton has gone from a #1-#2 option to a gunning 6th man, and Mayo has done the opposite.

I think that's true to an extent, but I also think MT's all around play started dipping last year even as a clear top option. Everything from FG%, 3P%, asts and rebs were down from the year before.

As an aside, WTH is up with Cuz? Dal just showed him not only having words with Carlisle and clapping in Carlisles face, but also slapping Mayo in the nuts off the ball. Needs to cool it.

Maybe we can trade MT and let Cisco replace him if both keep playing this way.

It may be easy to put JJ in Cisco's bench seat. That's too bad. I was expecting something but I guess that's why we got him for a second rounder.

I don't think I'm a fan of Jason Thompson. He plays so inconsistently and is just so flumsy with the ball. Should trade him...
