Smart's unwillingness to commit to either Jimmer or IT is killing them both. Just pick one for christ sake. This isn't working, nor was it ever going to.

Not quite. I've been saying all throughout the last two games that we were won because the other teams were turning the ball over a lot and just being bad on offense. That allowed us to get out running for easy baskets, which accounted for our offensive success. Now we're playing a better team that didn't turn the ball over much and poof went our offense. That's why half court execution is so important - we chipped away at the lead a little when Cousins had it going in the 3rd. But when he went out so did our offense.

Dumbass smart maybe should have realized not to put a stupid lineup like that in in the 2nd quarter after the performance by them in the last game. Guess not

hmm dallas gameplan....use starters until ahead...then put scrubs in until opponent has a run....and use starters if need be....how come that works so well????

Reke Cisco Salmons starting could be fun to watch.

Cisco is interesting he is by far out best help defender and he gets alot of steals and more blocks because of it however he leaves his man quite often to help sometimes moving all the way from one 3 point line across the basket and helps at the other short 3 point line. If you realize this and put him on the other teams non offensive 2 or 3 then you can use in that role but he will leave some uncontested drives and shots you just have to be aware of it.

Wouldn't it be nice to be full sized again? remember a few years ago we had full lineups 6'6 or taller? Sometimes we go 6'6 or shorter now... I guess the answer to the last grades poll question was outlaw right?

I still cringe when I think about how many posters last year were so convinced that he was better than Bibby at the same age, a top 10-15 pg, the obvious replacement to Evans, etc.

I think there was just so little good news last year that his unexpected performance made people overlook a lot of the issues that led to him being the last pick in the 1st place. Then everyone got in the we were so much better with him at point than Evans thing and it just snowballed.

Take away the second quarter and the game wasn't too bad. Much as I would expect from our team, some silly turnovers and mistakes as we saw. The second quarter and the bench were hideous. 2 points in 6 minutes?

Yeah, I actually enjoy Bruski's thinly veiled animosity towards anything that takes away from IT's game. I liked IT as a sparkplug off the bench but I think roles are such a mess that it just isn't working.

This is why we need a trade of some sort. Most of us here saw this a mile away but for some reason the Kings front office kept bringing in more guards (Brooks).

I still think IT can be a successful backup PG in the league; but either as a scorer (Jason Terry, Barea) or on a very uptempo team. I really doubt that he'll ever be a successful facilitator in a slower tempo offense. Thing is, I don't want the Kings to be a very uptempo team because it just hasn't shown to be a winning formula throughout history. And we've got Jimmer who's a better scorer than IT.

Can't comment on that since I only seen the 2nd half. Basically Smart needs to make a decision on who's playing between IT and Jimmer. At least Jimmer has been a pretty good scorer and facilitator than IT this season. IT hasn't really showed me anything this season. I also want to see Reke/Salmons/Cisco/JT/DMC. a full sized lineup with shooters

He played 4 minutes and he could hardly get the ball from T-rob. Still....Hard to play well when you only get to play for 4 minutes.
