Kings/Magic

G-League
I thought i would have a go at proposing a trade. Hopefully GP does something before the deadline. Well here we go:

Kings send:
- Bibby (12.5m/3yrs)
- Salmons (4.4m/5yrs)
- Thomas (7.2m/4yrs)

Kings receive:
- Hill (16.9m/1yr)
- Milicic (5.2m/1yr)
- Nelson (1.3m/2yrs)

Proposed Lineup:
C: Brad Miller, Darko Milicic, Vitaly Potapenko
PF: Shareef Abdur-Rahim, Justin Williams
SF: Ron Artest, Grant Hill, Corliss Williamson,
SG: Kevin Martin, Francisco Garcia, Quincy Douby
PG: Nelson, Ronnie Price, Jason Hart.

Why Kings do it:
Salary Dump, we are giving up longer contracts for expiring contracts. Also receive young pg, and Milicic looks like he to does have talent.

Why Magic do it:
They receive veteran pg, solid sg and bench pf, in an attempt to build a strong playoff team.

The worst thing I have ever seen in my life, the Magic will have to be insane to do this trade. They are basicly trading there future and 3 of their best players for an over the hill bibby, a bench player in salmons, and trash in Thomas.

Best players? Nelson has not panned out. Hill is on his way to retirement and Milicic isn't even close to being what ppl thought and he is expiring.

Like i have mentioned in the past, i currently live in Orlando and have been following them for a couple of years now. Nelson and Hill to go along with Ariza and Howard are currently the magic's best players with Milicic still developing in his 1st season of actural mins. And also add that Milicic has only started 2 games the first against the spurs which he looked lost and confused and the second against the nets which he and dwight looked fanstic with 16 and 10.

I really don't know where your getting that Nelson has not panned out but that is false, lol. He might be a little inconstient prime example is the back to back game with the spurs where he hit some very clutch shot and got 31 points then played bad against the nets the next night. But Nelson is still young and one of the young leaders on that team and he has plenty of time to iron out those problems.

And Hill is most likely the teams best perimeter player before the knee injury, Its not a corridence that every since he went down the team has been struggling. And news is if Hill does want to return the magic would be willing to resign him at a paycut and minor role.

The point is that i really doubt that the magic would trade anything for an over the hill bibby, which Jamear might be as good as and just getting better, and role players with long contracts. The only way that i see the magic dealing Jamear, Darko and Hill would be for a superstar wing player such as Ray Allen which has been rumored. But even in that deal i have a hard time seeing the magic giving up both Jamear and Darko it would be either or plus filler.

At the end of the day I see the magic staying put with their current team, trying to get Hill, Dooling, Battie, and Ariza healthy to make a run for the playoffs. But during the offseason is where the fun will begin, they will most likely try to resign Jamear, Darko, Dwight and maybe Ariza to long term deals and then try to get a wing player like Carter or Lewis (lewis makes more since but they seem to be high on an old Vince). And if they don't make the playoff look for them to draft for a big to solidify their bench.

And on a side note Turk is playing like crap if anybody is going to be trade it's going to be him.
