well We Kept The Laker Fans From Receiving Free Tacos At Deltaco By Scoring 100pts.... The Fans Were Booing Douby For Scoring The Pts.

well i know most of you won't agree with me but even though we lost a lot of games I just saw a different product this season compared to last season. IMO we are a quality forward/center away from being a competitive playoff team.

What i saw this season was a team that gave it their all in about 98% of the season. A team that had some chemistry. John Salmons and Garcia showing what they can do given the minutes. Kevin Martin getting better and better every year.

Basically they were a fun team to watch this year because even though we didn't have a real PF it was nice seeing no KT or shareef slowing down our offense. This team has a lot of offense. What their lacking is a defensive shot blocker/rebounder.

Good season. But, glad its over. I'm not as optimistic about next season as Jerry is unless we make some big trade. The truth of the matter is, the West is going to be 10 playoff teams deep next year with Portland.

OMG PREDICTION TIME GUYS. I'm gonna predict a 44-38 season next year, but again no playoffs.

Nice to see Douby go for 32. Hey, this could have happened earlier, but I guess some wins here and there in a meaningless season means more than the success next season.

Glad someone said it.. Agree 100000000% that we are a PF away.. BUT...... It might get worse before it gets better, because Artest could leave (COULD!! even though he says he wont) Miller should be on the trading block this summer, who knows if we are going to re-sign Beno...

Some pluses are that Salmons does a decent job when starting, an Garcia does a hell of a job and gives a lot of energy off the bench. Realistically we could give Garcia the bulk of the backup SG/SF minutes behind Martin, and Salmons if Artest were to leave (about 25-30 minutes a game)... Hawes (with exception to tonight) has shown great improvement over the season, and looks to be our C of the future. Moore if moved to the bench in lieu of of a better PF would still give us "Moore" type energy and man on man D which is a good thing.

So if these things happen during the summer (Miller traded, and Artest/Beno don't re-sign) we might get a bit worse before we get better.

Salmons wasn't too effective tonight...had his moments slashing to the basket, but his jumper wasn't falling, he was forcing the issue and getting blocked repeatedly (he has 7% of his shots blocked, ranked among the top at 82games.com) and just wasn't in a rhythm. That being said, though, I think he's probably trade bait come draft day. He's good as starter, but he's pretty narrow-minded and is expendable with the swingmen we have. He definitely has value out there.

I really hope Salmons is traded, the guy plays like he thinks he's Michael Jordan but with the skillset of... himself. I mean really I am sick of him going 1 on 5, getting offensive fouls, shotclock violations, etc. He plays with the bball IQ of a 7 year old. His court awareness is really terrible also.

God that was like the most humiliating loss of the season. Douby and Beno were the only ones who played like they had any pride. Worst game of the season.

How can you be humiliated when you're missing three starters and floor a rookie center who didn't even have training camp?

They gave it all in Arco on Monday night...in front of the home town fans. I applaud them for that. Losing tonight was a non-event, especially with Kevin, RonRon and Brad out.

I know what you mean and I understand but to be honest-losing to the Lakers feels like getting spit in the face to me. I mean that's just humiliating, no matter what for me. It's not realistic but still. The Lakers are just a classless team and so losing to them just angers me a lot, and losing by that much and seeing their players run up the score and jump and dance like a bunch of broadway (expletives) just makes me mad. I can't help it, I just hate losing to the lakers. Always will.

WOOO! I won a $50 Footlocker gift card at STAPLES tonight....

and no tacos to the Laker fans from Jack in the Box because of our boy Douby, lol

Laker fans were yelling "We want tacos!!"

Anyways, we were badly outmatched in this game. Gasol was just tossing the ball inside like nothing and nobody could rebound on our Kings. Its different seeing it live in person.

Garcia was wet during shootarounds...missed like 3 threes out of 20 or 25
