Kings are just beating themselves in this game. The halfcourt defense hasn't been that bad, but the transition D has been. Add the fact that they've been putting the Lakers in transition at every other possesion and it's a recipe for disaster.
Martin and Bibby are going to have to hit their outside shots in the second half.
I still don't think Adleman has a thought out offensive scheme for the personal he has yet. Sometimes I see an offensive gameplan, then I see a breakdown and Artest or Bibby trying to make hero shots. Normally the offense gets off to an ugly start, and post ups just get called reapetidly to try to simplify things. The problem there is that it simplifies things for the other team's defense as well and they just clog the middle. Angles are bad, player spacing is poor and movement becomes half-hearted.
And the Kings need to team rebound. I think Brad got fouled on that last missed rebound, but he was the only King on the board. That's not going to work.
