Um, dude? You really need to read up on last year's threads. Brian Shaw has been a member of the Laker staff for a couple of years. In fact, there were indications he was in line for the coaching vacancy on the Kings and some Laker fans weren't very happy about it.

:)

Yeah, I've been a little out of the loop

Ohhh Kobe Karl. I used to see him all the time when he played for the D-Fenders. Good to see him getting some playing time.

Nice high post spin and under-control slice-swish to the basket by 6'11 250 lb. JT - ala J. Salmons. Man, this guy has so much talent already - and obvious upside!

Well, it always sucks losing to the Lakers, but there was definitely some positives to take away from this game. Beno looked great, and played like a true PG. JT with 15 points and 10 free throw attempts. It seems like his quickness gets him to the line a lot, which is a nice plus. With him and Kevin on the floor, we can get opposing teams into foul trouble in a hurry. Hawes had an interesting game. I'll admit it, I expected him to have all kinds of trouble against Bynum, but he did a good job. He was the only player on either team to get double-digit rebounds, and finished with three blocks. On the negative side, it seems like he was spending too much time at the three point line on offense, although I did like the spin-move bank shot. Very Duncan-esque.

Playing Greene at 2-guard was...different.

I thought Beno was really impressive this game. He kept utilizing screens well and kept spotting the open man, particularly in the three point line. We clearly didn't shoot the three well tonight, but Beno at least helped guys get open shots.

8 assists in 23 mins. Really hope he keeps that up
