Note: There is apparently some confusion over coverage in the LA area but it's something you'll have to resolve for yourself if this applies to you. All guides, etc. I could find says the above channel information is valid for our area.

So, no head coach for the Lakers. With as deep a bench as they have in that regard, however, it might actually be to their benefit. After all, Brown coached them to three losses against us in pre-season.

Tonight should be an interesting game. I'm still a bit boggled in the mind over Smart's comment about the apparent need to play every player every game. I sincerely hope he meant something else, as has been talked about in other threads.

We used to have a tradition around here of a BEAT LA thread, but it seems to have lost its allure. I do also have a tradition, however, that I will not forego.

1: DMC gets in foul trouble playing against D12, and doesnt play over 28 minutes

2: We get KILLED by the Lakers during Keith Smarts random rotations, and the starters are unable to get us all the way back into the game

3: T-Rob's absence is going to kill us tonight against Gasol/Howard

At least two things make it tough tonight - Kobe is not going to let them lose (3 times in preseason was way too hurtful) and the Kingshave lost a little bit of mojo since preseason. Kings, beat 'em anyway.

No Cuz highlights Petrie not getting a backup center or more size. Said it a while ago, if either JT or Cuz is out for any reason, we'll see just how poor of frontline depth we have. We've needed a backup center for two years now.

Wasn't expecting the first scenario to be Cuz getting into it with an announcer though. But even with Trob, we'd only have one big 6"9" or over without Cuz. Same thing if JT misses a game.

Same here buddy. I was reading throughout the whole summer about how much our players were trying to improve and the whole bonding thing. The only improvement I see through 6 games is defense.
