NBA TV is airing the MSG broadcast; they may have an interest in not showing it.Wasn't that an illegal screen? NBA TV isn't showing the play that sent IT to the floor
Give credit where it is due: that was a great play by Thomas, no snide remarks necessary.Nice clutch shot D-Will!
Isaiah wanted to shoot that so bad..........
3 second difference between shot clock and game clock. Math says that you launch a long three with no time left and the Knicks CANNOT get the rebound and shoot fast enough to tie.
IT of course launches with 10 on the clock.

Hell, that's exactly what we want him to do.
Yea it's better than shooting, but let's be real here, the only reason he passed that is because it was about to be swatted right back into his face if he shot it. He leaves his feet looking to shoot and makes a panic pass at least 3 times per game
He played a MUCH better team game tonight and he's one of the reasons we won.
That doesn't change the fact that it was the right basketball play.Yea it's better than shooting, but let's be real here, the only reason he passed that is because it was about to be swatted right back into his face if he shot it. You know what? I'm not gonna bag on IT for that shot. We've gotten way too critical of him, micromanaging. That was a open look...he's fully capable of making the shot...and he made it. I think we all need to just relax a bit and quit dogging every single move Isaiah makes. He played a MUCH better team game tonight and he's one of the reasons we won. Give him the credit he is due.
Or, more to the point, if you can't acknowledge the kid making the right play, even once, without following it up with a sarcastic remark...Just stop. Isaiah is not the devil incarnate and he's not a cancer. He did good tonight. You can and should (IMHO) give him credit for doing what we needed him to do. If you refuse to acknowledge the good and only always bag on the bad, you're exactly what IT's agent seems to think you are.
It was a clutch shot. He's good shooter. The question is, do we want him taking that shot again with that much time on the clock, next time in that situation? I sure don't
HereWeVivek wouldn't give IT credit for anything without a qualifying "yeah, but..." IMHO that's just wrong. No player is perfect.
Even the Knicks broadcasters were commenting on Isaiah shooting too quickly a couple times at the end of the game when they should have been running the clock out...
That's micromanaging, IMHO. My comment stands. Some of us seem to be so critical of IT that he's not allowed to do anything unless it's the perfect thing that should have been done at that moment. He's not allowed any kind of leeway and that's simply not fair. HereWeVivek wouldn't give IT credit for anything without a qualifying "yeah, but..." IMHO that's just wrong. No player is perfect.
There is nothing good about leaving that much time on the clock like he did on that final shot, make or miss. I would say the same thing if it had been Rudy Gay, Demarcus Cousins, or freakin LeBron James.
If he missed, Knicks would have had the ball with about 5-6 seconds left down only 3 points! when there was only a 3sec difference on the shot clock. you shoot a long 3 as the shot clock expires and the time pretty much runs out before the ball can even be rebounded............
Just stop. Isaiah is not the devil incarnate and he's not a cancer. He did good tonight. You can and should (IMHO) give him credit for doing what we needed him to do. If you refuse to acknowledge the good and only always bag on the bad, you're exactly what IT's agent seems to think you are.
Just sayin...
