Artest should NOT be out of this game.
But his antics make me sick.
His reputation gives him a short leash. He should realize that. All of the yelling, extracurricular activity down low, it's just boneheaded crap!
He SHOULD know better. But he doesn't, and that's why he's in the locker room.

I would give almost anything I own to have the Kings pull this game out, just to see Carlos Boozer lose that smirk.

And again, props to the Kings and Reggie. They haven't given up. There's no quit in this team, fellow Kings fans...

Ron's antics are for nobody but himself. If that helps him block out the crowd and crap that the jazz are doing I'm fine with it. Not like it affects martin's scoring or anything like that.I'm pissed at the jazz and the refs.

If it was just this game, I might, slightly, agree. He has been jawing with and gesturing at the crowds on the road for a few games now. He actually hasn't done that in a long time. It is a very ominous sign to me. He's starting to look on the verge of a major meltdown. Maybe it's finally hit Ron that we aren't going to make the playoffs this year. I have never thought Ron handles losing very well.

Exactly! That's the best summary of events I've seen. And it's why the Kings simply cannot afford to keep Ron Artest around.

That was frusterating. Good thing it's raining and storming - my husband and I were yelling so loud at the TV the neighbors would have thought we were brawling. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Most technicals I think are well deserved - tonight it was very one sided. I'm not saying Ron didn't deserve it, but that looked like mutual combat to me..... and I think Reggie was within his rights yelling. In particular when the Jazz coach yelled so hard he jumped out out of his shoes! That said I was hoping it would give the Kings a kick in the pants that would end up with us winning the game. Sigh.

As others have mentioned, Artest's actions should be setting off VERY LOUD alarms to everyone concerned. He's becoming more theatrical on the court, he's arguing with Theus, and his decision to make it personal between himself and the Jazz fans tonight was a clear factor in the loss.

Martin with 32 points, 7 boards, 4 assists and only one turnover? That's impressive - but what's going to be talked about is Artest's antics and ejection from the game. And I don't want to see that. It's about our TEAM, not our nutcase small forward. I wish Ron Artest all the luck in the world...with whatever team Petrie can blackmail into taking him.

And again you forgot the bottom line - it shows that the Kings lost. There is no column in the standings for not quitting.

And you missed her point. There is a place in fans hearts for not quitting. We know this isn't a good team, but at least they play hard. You couldn't say that last year.

Says a bit about the coaching though...The last season of Adelman (before Ron came into town) and during the travesty of the Muss season you could tell the players were half assing it and going through the motions.

You can only wonder what Reggie could do with a real roster.

And your point is? Yes, the Kings lost. But in losing at least they didn't just give up. And that's part of turning a team around and getting them headed back in the right direction. I'm sorry that it upsets you so when I don't look solely at the final score as the ONLY thing to be considered.

If all you look at is the W or L, that's fine but there are a lot of people who choose to see more than that.
