Yeah, but we played Salmons and Patterson 20+ minutes each, so it balances out...Really? We were without Favors and Marvin Williams and you won in overtime.

what's a Jazz fan doing here?Really? We were without Favors and Marvin Williams and you won in overtime.
And they've lost a lot too. Also, this was the jazz minus favors for chrissakes.More effective than the 4-13 record Cousins and Vasquez have led this team to, yes.
And I didn't say they are always effective. I didn't say it was perfect. I just think saying they can't play together suggests they .. can't. Which they can. They have. They won tonight playing together.
Excuses for what? It's a bit ridiculous isn't it? At some point, the excuses are going to run out

Describing the struggles as "mild" are understating them by an order of magnitude... As far as this specific game is concerned, we had to go to overtime because we didn't have anyone on the court that could get the ball to DeMarcus Cousins in the last 5-6 minutes of regulation. That is, ostensibly, the point guard's job. And, when you have a star-in-the-making. like Cousins, it's arguably his most important job.Thomas mildly struggles with entry passes. Seriously? that is where we draw the line?
But the other guy's inability to shoot or defend is totally ok because he has a .. 10% higher entry pass success rate? 20%? it realistically can't be much higher than that.
Uh... yeah. When it comes to point guards, the ability of a point guard to get the ball to the star player, where the star is most effective is, in fact, the way we judge that point guard's ability to play with that star.
For whatever else he can't do, Vasquez does that better than anybody else we've got on the team, by a lot.
We tried to give Utah the game. They gave it back. We have a dominant player. They do not. We are much better than the Utah Jazz.Really? We were without Favors and Marvin Williams and you won in overtime.
That Jazz fan's been here a lot longer than you have, shipmate. We always welcome other teams' fans here, especially when they have the class to show up and take their lumps.what's a Jazz fan doing here?

Yep, no homer in this post....We tried to give Utah the game. They gave it back. We have a dominant player. They do not. We are much better than the Utah Jazz.
Yes "we" do....We don't have Favors and Williams. Perhaps you are lost.

well atleast there's no Flopper and Faker fans hereThat Jazz fan's been here a lot longer than you have, shipmate. We always welcome other teams' fans here, especially when they have the class to show up and take their lumps.
Logical fallacy. By that criteria, we're better than the Suns, Nuggets and Grizzlies, too. But, guess what? We aren't.We tried to give Utah the game. They gave it back. We have a dominant player. They do not. We are much better than the Utah Jazz.

At least Malone realized it. Probably won us the game.Just to add, when Cousins was abusing poor Enes, every entry pass came from someone other than IT. THAT'S the point (pun intended).

I have learned IT can never please some of the people on the board here...

I just disagree that that is why we went to overtime. A million different things caused that game to go into overtime. If Cousins didn't get into early foul trouble overtime could have been avoided. If our starting point guard could produce more than 4 pts and 4 ast overtime could have been avoided, etc.
The team couldn't get Cousins the ball effectively in crunch time. We all wanted the ball to go there. No doubt about it, but that is one flaw in one particular game, for a 5-6 minute stretch. I'm not basing big picture stuff on that. I'm not saying they can't play together because of that.
But I know where you stand. I can disagree and still respect the opinion.
faker fan?![]()
Well, now, I wouldn't say that...
And I have learned that some people on this board will never be happy until the rest of us wash Thomas' feet. It will never be enough for them that we acknowledge that he's the best sixth man in the league this season; they won't be satisfied until we become "Pizza Guys," too, and demand that he start.I have learned IT can never please some of the people on the board here...
Who, me?faker fan?
nah I'm just kidding .. and I'm across the Pacific and sometimes AtlanticWho, me?
You want to step outside and say that to my face, chief?
You ignored the first two sentences, shipmate. Wink.Logical fallacy. By that criteria, we're better than the Suns, Nuggets and Grizzlies, too. But, guess what? We aren't.
