In that case, the swap will not be necessary because the Kings won't be drafting higher than the Sixers IMO.
You never know with the lottery

I don't think you're using the word "trolling" correctly.Excuses after every game, posters saying this team has had a culture change, that this team is a deep team, that this is a potential playoff team
I don't think you're using the word "trolling" correctly.
The Kings are in lottery hell. Can't tank because 76ers own the Kings' soul for the next 2 years, so were stuck with trying to be mediocre (which we can't even do)so those picks don't end up costing the Kings.
I can't tell if fans are being serious when they talk about how they're proud of the Kings for showing progress in the last Knicks game. Are you kidding me? Losing to the Knicks who were without D-Rose was progress? Seriously? Then you have some people bringing up the word "culture change" a few days after the Matt Barnes incident... I can't tell if they're being serious or not.I don't think you're using the word "trolling" correctly.
¬_¬In Internet slang, a troll (/ˈtroʊl/, /ˈtrɒl/) is a person who sows discord on the Internet by starting arguments or upsetting people, by posting inflammatory,[1]extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community (such as a newsgroup, forum, chat room, or blog) with the intent of provoking readers into an emotional response[2] or of otherwise disrupting normal, on-topic discussion,[3] often for the troll's amusement
All those things I have said that are being posted I believe are to purposely upset people on this site
Why would you believe that they're not being serious?I can't tell if fans are being serious when they talk about how they're proud of the Kings for showing progress in the last Knicks game. You think that the posters who (according to you) are "making excuses" for the team are doing so intentionally, to provoke people into an emotional response, for their own amusement? Whom do you think they are trying to provoke?
That might be the most #FirstWorldProblems thing I've ever heard.I think they are trying to provoke other posters on this site. It's painful to me to listen to people come up with excuses for this team. I feel they are trying to troll people that realize this isnt a good team, we aren't making the playoffs and no culture change has happend
haha, I laughed way too hard at this. I think you're onto something..Are you familiar with Stockholm Syndrome?

Yeah, I asked because I wanted to see if you were going to have an explanation that made sense.Fair enough.....you asked me

This is the draft pick situation from here out:
2017:
Chicago gets our pick this year if it isn't in the top 10. Otherwise they get our second round pick next year and we no longer owe them anything.
Also, if our pick is in the top 10 then Philly has swap rights. They'll trade us their lottery pick for ours only if ours is better (they're currently tied with Dallas for the worst record in the league).
2018:
We keep our pick in 2018 because you can't trade consecutive picks.
2019:
Philly gets our first round pick in 2019 no matter what. Hopefully it isn't a good one.![]()

Sure: when you said that you thought people who (so you say) are making excuses for the team are "trolling," I asked for your explanation because I thought that I was going to finish reading your explanation and think, "Okay, I can see why a reasonable person might think that."I'm not following you care to explain?
The Knicks are a 13-10 team last time I checked.
I hoped we'd beat them. But they were again no free win.
And yes, the point is that this team has hung in there every night against everyone. New York included. That's important.
You cite an Internet definition of troll as if we don't know what one is. Well, we do know. We've had more than our share of trolls, especially during the "good years".
I think you're wrong and I think it's an insult to some of the people who have been members of this forum forever. If someone wants to try and find something to be happy about, it's not up to you or anyone else to point out that their feelings or beliefs are wrong.
It's tough enough to be a Kings fan right now without having to see people picked on or called names for trying to find a little something to cling to.
If I want to hold a parade, I'll be perfectly happy doing so without you or anyone else feeling the need to rain on it. Thanks....
You seem to be arguing that injuries are a more important factor than fatigue. I don't know that I agree with that. The Jazz are injury depleted, but the guys they did have were fully rested, and we were playing the second night of a back-to-back, in arguably the second-worst place to play on the second night of a B2B in US sports (second-highest elevation of any city with a "major" professional sports team in the United States).
Do you know how many times in the last 10 years a team has made it to the playoffs in the Western Conference with a .500 record? Once.
Do you know how many times in the last 18 years a team has made it to the playoffs in the Western Conference with a .500 record? Twice.
And we're now 7 games under .500 so we have to be 7 games over .500 from here out just to get there. You say the schedule is to blame, that we just have to hang in there until February and then we'll start piling on wins. So you're asking me to believe that this team -- currently 8-15 -- is going to go on some crazy run of winning 2/3 of their games in February, March and April despite the fact that they haven't shown even an inkling of that level of competence in over 10 years? Yeah, okay. I actually do believe those kinds of runs are possible, I've seen it happen before. Last year's team could have done it if they just sucked it up and fired George Karl in December. But not with these players. Not with Rudy Gay counting the days until he's out of here. Not with Afflalo, Barnes, and Lawson playing big minutes.
For all the people in the "keep Cousins" camp, are you really enjoying this team? Have you ever since Cuz was drafted other than the 11 games with Malone to start the 14'-15' season? If you answer yes, I just really don't understand. I find it hard to come up with a handful of games over the last 5-8 years that I felt excited to be a fan and confidant in our future. In my humble opinion there are way too many factors weighing against us to build around Cuz. Do we honestly think that we'll be able to after 6 years not being able and the fact that free agents have never wanted to come here? Lower to mid tier don't count because we've tried that over and over. Big time free agents especially don't want to come here right now with such a mess either. Do players (besides Wall and Bledsoe) want to play with him? I can't answer that but it doesn't seem like it. Its too late to draft players around him and frankly, we haven't drafted the right players to put around him to this point anyway. I think it would be the biggest mistake of mistakes if we hold on to Cousins past the all star game. This franchise needs to hit the reset button and we all need to hope that Vlade can extract the most out of whatever trade(s) he makes.
BTW, this isn't me saying I don't like Demarcus. Its me throwing my hands up saying, let's stop pretending this can turn around with the same efforts of "rebuilding" around him.
Fair enough but it goes both ways. If someone has a negative post about the Kings and their current situation it's not up to mods or anyone else to point out their feelings or beliefs are wrong.

Other than this teams malfunctioning gears, your lack of paragraph spacing, is what is making my brain hurt.Your brain might hurt for other reasons.. Great input though!
That 13-10 is deceptive. They've had an easy schedule.
I invest too much time and money with this team as it is. It took a lot of effort to even get that out. I don't feel like writing a perfectly worded, spaced, and edited essay. I feel good just knowing you spent time correcting me though. I appreciate that. Your contribution to this subject is breathtaking.Paragraphs are your friend. My brain hurt reading that.
