I don't think you're using the word "trolling" correctly.

All those things I have said that are being posted I believe are to purposely upset people on this site
This is the draft pick situation from here out:
2017:
Chicago gets our pick this year if it isn't in the top 10. Otherwise they get our second round pick next year and we no longer owe them anything.
Also, if our pick is in the top 10 then Philly has swap rights. They'll trade us their lottery pick for ours only if ours is better (they're currently tied with Dallas for the worst record in the league).
2018:
We keep our pick in 2018 because you can't trade consecutive picks.
2019:
Philly gets our first round pick in 2019 no matter what. Hopefully it isn't a good one.
I can't tell if fans are being serious when they talk about how they're proud of the Kings for showing progress in the last Knicks game. Are you kidding me? Losing to the Knicks who were without D-Rose was progress? Seriously? Then you have some people bringing up the word "culture change" a few days after the Matt Barnes incident... I can't tell if they're being serious or not.

You think that the posters who (according to you) are "making excuses" for the team are doing so intentionally, to provoke people into an emotional response, for their own amusement? Whom do you think they are trying to provoke?
Why would you believe that they're not being serious?

I think they are trying to provoke other posters on this site. It's painful to me to listen to people come up with excuses for this team. I feel they are trying to troll people that realize this isnt a good team, we aren't making the playoffs and no culture change has happend

That 19 pick is a back breaker hopefully doubling up on first rounders this year via trades will help mitigate the damage. Thank god for the consecutive draft pick rule or we would be double screwed.
You cite an Internet definition of troll as if we don't know what one is. Well, we do know. We've had more than our share of trolls, especially during the "good years".
I think you're wrong and I think it's an insult to some of the people who have been members of this forum forever. If someone wants to try and find something to be happy about, it's not up to you or anyone else to point out that their feelings or beliefs are wrong.
It's tough enough to be a Kings fan right now without having to see people picked on or called names for trying to find a little something to cling to.
If I want to hold a parade, I'll be perfectly happy doing so without you or anyone else feeling the need to rain on it. Thanks....

The Knicks are a 13-10 team last time I checked.
I hoped we'd beat them. But they were again no free win.
And yes, the point is that this team has hung in there every night against everyone. New York included. That's important.
Sure: when you said that you thought people who (so you say) are making excuses for the team are "trolling," I asked for your explanation because I thought that I was going to finish reading your explanation and think, "Okay, I can see why a reasonable person might think that."
I did not.
That 13-10 is deceptive. They've had an easy schedule.

Valid point. I wasn't directly comparing it to fatigue but that is an important factor. Rudy got his. Demarcus didn't quite hit his mark against an understrength but solid team, that's enough for a loss to endure unfortunately. Fatigue factored I'm sure.
I wish I could like this post 1000 times.
I have been on the rebuild wagon for a while now, but the main reason is that I didn't think he'll resign with us- but if he is willing, you keep him without hesitatio, and I'm starting to think he is really serious (I think this makes him insane but that's a different discussion).
If you are sure he'll sign a long term contract (and Vlade probably knows if he does) it's your best course of action- regardless of the path you want to continue in, including gutting the team around him and going for a short rebuild.
Bit different, and you know it. If we mods came down on every negative post on this forum, none of us would ever get any sleep.
I've defended you multiple times when I thought you were being unfairly attacked. Right now, I think you made a big mistake when you tossed around the "troll" word so casually to describe certain fans.
You're a Celtics fan. Your team has won a gazillion championships. You have jerseys in your rafters of some of the greatest to ever play the game. I really don't think you have any idea what it feels like to be a Kings fan...

You love this "hanging in there" narrative and, frankly, it's nauseating because at the same time you constantly tell us that Cuz is a Hall of Famer and one of the best players in the game. If he's a HOF'er and as good as you say he is, then we shouldn't be talking about moral victories and simply being competitive (while losing to NY at home, a depleted Utah team, blowing the lead to LAL at home, etc). Moral victories and being competitive are for teams like the 76ers who have a ton of young talent and are just figuring out how to compete. If we have a HOF'er in his prime, surrounded by vets, then we should expect to actually WIN at least half our games.

Still, easy schedule or not...it's that strange almost arrogance thing -- since when are games against winning teams suddenly these automatic wins? I mean, you hope. We played them tough both times, and they are one of a number of teams that I am not entirely convinced are better than us. But I'm also far from convinced we are better than them. We can play them tough, but they have a good coach, had us scouted well, and have more weapons than we do. They are the more talented team.
And yet again, down to the wire, had our chances to win it in the final minute = unacceptable! yadda. yadda.
