This is exactly what I was thinking. Big three contracts in the short term could be Cousins, Reke, Iggy. Then if McLemore is the real deal a changing of the guard to the big three being Cousins, Reke and McLemore once Ben's rookie contract is up.
60% of his shots last season were 3pt shots. I think I'd rather have a guy like Korver in that role. And 3.8 rebounds per last season in 23 minutes isn't a good rebounder imo. I think the Kings need a much more active SF that can slash and hit an occasional 3pt. I'd obviously like Iggy but I'd even take Barnes over Wright. Wright makes sense on OKC and I can see why they're interested. Not a good fit with the Kings, and I'd pass.
you shouldn't be looking at RPG, but at TRB%. he's got a higher rate there than Iggy for instance and is closer to guys like Gay or Kirilenko. I wouldn't mind Korver either but he appears Brooklyn bound and gives you less as a defender or rebounder and I don't actually see the need for a slasher at the three spot, at least if Evans is retained.

Was just commenting back that somebody claimed Wright was a good rebounder. Anyway, there is a reason a guy like Wright only got 23 mpg on a crappy team and was traded away from GS for a 2nd rounder, he's really not that good to be a starter.
I'm not really worried about Iggy's TRB% because he played alongside some good rebounders like Faried, McGee, Koufos.

*Apparently, based on some Twitter comments, Iguodala doesn't like the nickname "Iggy".
*There is a campaign on Twitter to encourage Andre to come to Sacramento. Send him a tweet @Andre and use the hashtag #HereWeAndre if you'd like to help the cause. Copy to @Vivek to let the front office know, too.

I'm so over the obsession with shot blockers. Yeah, when shot blocking is added to a player's overall, great defensive play, then yeah, sign me up. But I'm more interested in high IQ players who know how to position themselves, communicate, box out, double-team, move and rotate on defense.

For anyone that understands the birds rights better: we can technically sign Iggy for whatever he wants, then Match any of Evans offers even if we go over the salaray cap right?

No, I don't think it works like this. From what I understand, we have a cap hold (around 13 million) for Tyreke. But I guess if Iguodala wants to come here they will amnesty Salmons, and maybe move Jimmer for a future second round pick.

Yes, you're right. That's what I meant. We have better chances to land a big man through a trade than free agency. I still believe the team we should target is Milwaukee. They have 3 shot blockers, and they just lost Ellis and Redick. They may be interested in Thornton.

yes thats how it worked on the old cba and im pretty sure its still the same way...bt im pretty sure tyreke has a high cap hold thats on our salary cap until he signs.bt i dont know why we wouldnt just amnesty john salmons and be under the cap after signing both of them..bt hes basically expring so either way i guess...

If we sign Tyreke at 11 million, we would be around 52/53 million with our salary cap. Not counting the 2 rookies. That's why we wouldn't be able to sign Iguodala without amnestying Salmons.
the clear trade to make is thorton for taj gibson, he is already locked up for 8m a yr..a good individual defender and team defender and can block shots.
