Greetings, fellow Kings fans.
First, let me say I was very proud of the way the team has rallied behind Eric Musselman. They aren't making excuses or anything for him, but they're letting him know they're behind him. I think it's great to see. There are several threads already going about what happened, how people feel, etc. so I'm not going to say much more here. I do think the statements given were to the point and appropriate. They'll probably be shown during half-time of today's game. If so, I'll try to get the transcript of the Maloofs comments.
The team is in Reno now, getting ready to face Peja and Bobby. I don't know if either of them will actually play but I fully expect to see a very motivated Kings team come out and win one to prove their loyalty to Muss.

Game time tonight is a little earlier than usual - 5 p.m. We should get some pretty good eye-witness reports afterwards as several of our members made the trek all the way to Reno to support the Kings (and, I suspect, get a peak of Peja and Bobby).
I've got my purple slippers. My Kings memorabilia collection has been revamped for the coming season. My beverage of choice this afternoon is orange cinnamon tea.
This is, for those of you who may not be famliar with it, the Play-By-Play thread. I watch the game and give you my running dialogue, complete with the occasional Kings fan homer comment. It's not interactive but don't despair. We do have a game discussion thread and we have CHAT (located at mIRC, server irc.bludgeon.org, channel #kingsfans).
