[Game] Kings @ Hornets 1/21/13 10 AM

Smart must know with new ownership his job is gone, so now hes just screwing with us.

Honestly, I dont think Smart could be a worse coach if he tried.

Hell, if he tried to go away from what he considers good coaching moves, he would probably become a better coach by accident.

Does the GM need owner approval to trade players and fire the coach?
We might be stuck with Smart till the end of the season, I don't think I can stomach that.

some great Keith Smart stats from the first half:

Tyreke played 13 of 24 minutes
DeMarcus played 16 of 24 minutes
the ALL-Bench lineup played the first 7:20 of the second quarter

Of course we're stuck with him. He's gonna get the City of Seattle a higher draft pick.

If we're going to lose, we better lose riding the backs of DMC and Reke. Good to see both being aggressive to start the half.

is it a coincidence that the worst part of the game was when the starters came back in after being Iced for about 10 minutes of play? no probably not

after being benched for 10 minutes the starters probably said "**** it were done"
The starters all sat when they down 12 or so points. The bench played better than the starters did. I am not say that is the justifies the coaches rotation but let's not pretend that the starters were great and is coach Smart had just played them more the game would be a lot closer. It probably would be worse.

The bench lineup came in with a 12-point deficit, and left with a 13-point deficit. They weren't better except for the final 4+ minutes of the half is when the wheels fell off. The entire team has played like crap today and Smart's sub patterns have just been horrendous as usual. Add it all up and you have a 25+ and growing deficit.

Anybody know what Jimmer did wrong to be close to his 2nd DNP in 2 games? I'm certain some teams in this league could use him.

Well, there you go: just make Anderson have to shoot twos: unless he's posting up Thornton, he apparently can't hit inside the three-point line.

And guess who got us back in to this game? DMC, Reke and great defense. It's amazing what riding your stars and great defense will do for you.
