I want to give everyone fair warning...unless some miracle occurs and a rather large branch snaps and falls from a Ponderosa Pine tree in my yard, I will not be able to do the PBP because... grrr... I won't be able to even see the game.
I have received a large amount of snow in a short period of time. It has clung to the tree branches like glue, and has caused said branches to droop MUCH lower than normal. In one instance, a fairly large branch has now drooped down so much that it is blocking the satellite signal to my DishNetwork dish. Needless to say, I am not a happy camper.
My first thought, of course, was to chop down the tree but that's simply not practical. I cannot remove the branch myself and I cannot call and have it removed for safety reasons, etc. as it is not touching a phone line, power line, etc. It's just hanging there covered with lots of snow, blocking my dish.
If the situation changes, I will - of course - be doing the PBP for this afternoon's game. Since it's still snowing up here, however, I'm not very optimistic.
Stupid snow. Stupid tree.
