It is simple. 2 bad teams. One got embarrassed last night. The other is playing first home game after the long road trip in front of family and close friends. In my 10 years of following the NBA this is the textbook case in which when 2 bad teams play the winner is usually the team that is destined to lose it which is us.
Well, you certainly don't wait until there's one second on the clock to get into your offense. 8 seconds is the norm and that's what happened in this case. The kick in was to Artest with about 6 seconds and he looked for the double team and to possibly kick back back out for a shooter. No double so he made his move and scored with about 5 seconds. A bit early but in the flow of a hoped for final possession. Johnson then makes a 42 foot 3 with less than one second - that's the breaks!
Beno has 10 pts, 5 assists and 0 turnovers in first half (now 12 pts as just scored first Kings hoop of 2nd half) - not exactly being totally outclassed by Bibby.
