Maybe not a class act but pretty predictable.

I've known some Laker fans for years. Without exception, NONE of them are happy with what's going on right now. They would much rather go forward without Lebron than witness the train wreck rapidly approaching on the horizon.

Walton will get fired and nothing will get better. I don't want to sound shallow, but a part of me has to keep from dancing in the streets.

That's strange, I feel happy about their situation :)

All my friends who are Lakers fans were insufferable when they signed LeBron.

I'm loving this. It's almost as good as when they landed both Nash and Howard, only to implode!

I'm sure they'll figure it out eventually, so I'm gonna enjoy it while they suck! It's so much better when there's high expectations!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought PDA fired him. Vivek hired Coach Malone before he hired the GM -- which is a big no-no but something he hadn't learned yet. It became an issue of the GM not being on board because the coach wasn't 'his guy'. Vivek made the next mistake of choosing the GM over the coach, whom he ended up firing anyway.

I agree with all of this except that Vivek also publically endorsed the decision to fire Malone and seemed to prompt (or at least agree with) the disastrous decision to replace him with George Karl. His mistake was probably just in listening to the wrong people as he was the one who hand-picked Malone to be his head coach in the first place. It's ancient history now though. I'm sure he's happy winning in Denver and we're happy with the job Dave Joerger is doing.

every single GM has their duds, even the great ones. Vlade has had Papa, Malachi & Skal so far until Skal proves otherwise, Jackson too doesn't look like a good pick to me but it's still early on that front
Yes, and still... I'll put my eggs in Vlade's basket... but maybe that's just cause i'm a 100% homer. I'm not qualified to have an objective opinion here.

Anyone that's been to a Laker game at Summer League knows that they are the most obnoxious fans in the NBA. I will not longer go to any Summer League games the Lakers are playing in, even if their playing the Kings. Well, maybe I'll make one exception.

Couldn’t agree more.

I know what you mean. I won't be dancing because Walton gets fired. Far from it. But I'll be dancing because of the Lakers' chaos that it portends.

The next 4 games they play are Portland, Toronto, Minni and the Kings. I want so much for them to lose all four, especially the last one. L.A would explode.

Plus, they play the Lakers the night before my wife's birthday, and I SO want to give her a nice present this year.
