Of course it's not a rule but it's a widely used strategy for a reason.
Terrible 1st qtr play.
Which is totally fine. I do prefer the traditional approach to the situation tho.And when your coach has SPECIFICALLY said that he's going to change that philosophy on occasion, as Mr. Slim pointed out above, then you might see a player remain on the court with two early fouls. So far, it seemed to work just fine.
In other news, I liked the comment Grant made about Reggie Evans talking to DMC, who was rebuffed when he went over to talk to an official.
And now, RU-DY!!!!
I feel like this would be a good game for Evans to play in

Can you elaborate?
At this rate, we're not going to have any choice.I'm pretty sure we'll see some Reggie tonight.I feel like this would be a good game for Evans to play in![]()
Terrible 1st qtr play.
And I'm fine conceding because like you said, it worked out great. When you have a player as dominant as Demarcus Cousins, you have to get him used to playing with fouls. If you don't, he's gonna be spending way too much time cooling his heels.
I'm only being stubborn about this, BTW, because Malone was asked about it the other night after the game and made a point of saying it's something they have to work on to take it away from opponent's game plans.
Really? What game are you watching? I'm seeing pretty good effort, team play, balanced offense, and the occasional moment or two of defense. Not sure how that could be rated as "terrible"...
Well, the stars appear to be more engaged than last night, so we've got that going for us. There has been good "effort," but it hasn't translated to a ton of success yet.Really? Almost 5 TO's already, too many easy baskets by opponent
I been trying to tell anyone who will listen the dude is seriously talented since the first time I seen him play for the Nuggets.Another career high for opposing player. 12 pts in 1st qtr for fournier
