Honestly, i think our MLE offer was probably pretty close to convincing him. That's why he took so long to resign.

is Realgm’s general board down for anyone else? I keep seeing a 404 error.

The Hawks will play the Knicks in Madison Square Garden on Christmas Day. It’s the first time since 1989 that the Hawks will play a Christmas Day game, the longest streak in the NBA. Sacramento has the second-longest streak (2003).

It's been a crazy year of King's basketball. 2 seasons essentially back to back, a bubble, a top 4 prospect falls into our lap, 9 game winning and losing streaks, injuries, Cojo, months and months of prospect discussions, a friendly wager, a surprise draft pick and a summer league championship.
I'm going to log off for a month or so, see y'all in preseason! (unless of course there is a major move made)
I know these are hard times and they usually kill it but this is fireable for Kings media guy.

Culture is REAL, y'all. Character matters. Between Tyrese and Davion, especially drafting where they did, Monte nailed it.
Add some big man toughness in Len and Thompson. Hard-working, hi-quality professionals in Richaun and Harrison. Elite offensive talent in DFox.
Really, literally the only rotation player who doesn't clearly/obviously align with the hoped-for cultural makeover is Bags. No, Buddy isn't the hi-IQ, even-average defender we want, but he works hard, takes care of his body, has that important elite skill, and has stopped yelping (publicly, at least) about his place on the team. Bags works hard, it seems, but largely in a world apart, w/his people, and wants out. Attitudinally, he's the biggest question mark.
Otherwise, I'm confident about the disposition all these players will bring. Which is especially impressive w/such a young team. It REALLY is a shame it's impossible to have the same kind of confidence in the head coach (though the assistants look solid).
I’ve been preaching to get players with work ethic where they’ll improve themselves cause lord knows our FO ain’t gonna do it. I’m cautiously optimistic (I mean it’s the Kings lol) but it looks like we are, at a snails pace, building a solid team.
Bagley is not a hard worker and he’s soft as Charmin. He should have been Buddy big after we had what 7 months off? All he did was gain a little muscle and started hitting the corner 3 better. While that’s an improvement, it’s not even Fox level work ethic, who IMO (even though he’s a hard worker) prolly has the worst work ethic of the core guards.
I haven't seen much to suggest that Bags *doesn't* work hard. I do think it's fair to ask/wonder: is he working on what he needs to work on? Easy to imagine him jacking that 3-ball (and it's paying off). But is putting in the weight room time to build up his strength and mobility, the film room time to improve his recognition and understanding? How much Rico time is he getting? It's great to hear of Tyrese and Davion spending time together, and Fox. Metu, TT and others doing work. No mention of Bags in that mix.
Didn't Jason Anderson have this text about last year? Or am I mistaken? I swear this is old but a recent picture is attached.
