Why not? He is a young, full-sized center who is a talented offensive threat from anywhere on the floor with good hands... I don't see why the Kings would want to keep him around.I don't even want Hawes name brought up again regarding trade talks. No way in hell we give him up.

It's just what they got from Sac Bee...
Inside Bulls-Kings trade talks
The two teams, according to league sources, had trade talks earlier this season that have been tabled for now. The Bulls need frontcourt help, but they appear to have more interest in second-year center Spencer Hawes than in veteran Brad Miller or even forward Kenny Thomas. That could change, but the question on the Bulls' side is whether they

Hawes was apaprently brought up by them, not us.
Have no idea why/how they could possibly think he's on the table, but whatever. Amusing that they made a rather blatant drafting error a year ago (they needed a POST UP center, and everyone knew it), and now want to correct it.
thing wiht all the Bulls rumors that I have never been able to figure out is what the hell they want to do now. they screwed up, ratehr miserably. they were supposed to be a mini-Portland, full of young talent moving forward. But then they lost their conviction in that talent, dumped guys like Curry (good) and Chandler (bad), found out they had wildly overestimated the bailities of their other young guys (Deng, Gordon, Hinrich etc.), brought in old guys, swappe them for more old guys, drafted a young guy, then another, brought in a rookie coach...now what are they? Half young, half old. Prime guys maybe going to leave...constructing a trade with them has to be difficult because what the hell are they trying to do? Win now? Win next year? Win in 5 years? They aren't really built for any of it. Only way a trade between us and them makes sense is if they are in win now mode. Two teams both in rebuild mode aren't good trade patners normally -- both value the same pieces.

They have nothing that we would want and that they would trade. Personally, the only player on that roster that I would want to see on the Kings is Rose, it just happens so that he is the only truly untouchable guy on that roster. So, in my mind, Petrie would do well to block all calls from Paxson.
They have only one real star player (Rose).
They have a bunch of good-to-very good players (your 3rd, 4th banana canidates on a middling team) that have been exposed as limited (Heinrich, Gordon, Nocioni) or too soft (Deng). All of them are either overpaid, or expecting to become overpaid next year (Gordon).
Their bigs are pittiful-to-servicable 10-12th man canidates (Gray, Ruffin), retreads (Gooden), overrated and potenital busts (Noah and Thomas).
I especially dislike:
Noah garbage on and off the field. Calls out his teammates after a single NBA game. Gets busted for ganja and booze in his first offseason. Gets awarded extra suspension game by _his_ treammates for being an overall jerk. Gets into it with the only true hustle guy (Noce) on the team in the middle of the game. Overrated to rediculous degree - supposedly provides hustle and energy, but has 0 spetial awareness, blows assignemnts on every other play and gets winded after 5 minutes. Looks lively out there, but if you try to ignore his bobbing ponytail and aimlessly flailing arms you will notice that he contributed very little on the court.
Ty Thomas. Has all the talent and ability to be a real force in the league, but doesn't have even the bare minimum requisite mental capacity to actually play the game. Has been in as much trouble as Noah while in Chicago and if you call him out or God forbid fine him (for breaking team rules, missing practice, tardiness or getting into it with coaches) he will pull Vince Carter and mail it in the very next time you call his number.
I really, really do not understand at all why so many Kings fans would even consider any of these guys?!
