The starters are logging way too many minutes to keep up this kind of defense for 48 minutes. Bibby and Artest are at 21, Martin is at 20, Miller is at 18. That's way too much for a half.
That's the biggest problem I see. I wonder if Muss is playing them that much, hoping they will start to flow offensively togther?

I wonder how Ron will react if he's told to quit shooting so much? He has the skills to help so much on the offensive end.
I think too many people were enamored with stats when we got Artest. He's never been an amazing scorer. He's been an amazing hustle player that got a lot of open looks from a very good system.

He never created for himself and "took over games". We've got two players on this roster capable of "taking over" on a consistant basis in terms of scoring and one of them sits the bench.

Why, o, why do we insist on playing to our biggest weaknesses?

Why doesn't the coach take a stand againt Artest? Sit him! If he takes dumb shots, sit him.

Some of these shots are so bad that they might as well be turnovers.

artest 1-11 now... starts 3rd quarter with 2 turnovers and Mike with a technical...

Hinrich with 3... GOD **** THIS and now a offensive foul...

I think that's about all he's doing is "hoping" because it certainly doesn't look like a well coached/disciplined team.

I'm sorry, I know it's only two games ... but this is brutal. This team looks like it would get crushed by the Vancouver Grizzlies.

Lol I always hear Kenny say the S-word when he has a defensive mishap or when he misses a freethrow... basically like 5 times a game...

Da**it! Bibby got tech earlier. Wallace just barked at the ref all the way down the court with the ball in play and no tech. This double-standard is making me angry.

I am overly optimistic by nature when it comes to the Kings. Foolishly so at times, but I choose to be that way. Sadly, all I can say so far to stay positive is "It's just the second game." That is not very good. I just do not want a repeat of last season. My goal for the night . . . Find something- ANYTHING- positive about their playing.

There's way too much one on one basketball; no ball movement; too many turnovers. The game is just way too frustrating to watch. Just a question. Is there any reason why Musselman doesn't call a timeout when the team is struggling?

Correct me if I'm wrong. But isn't a coach supposed to make IN GAME changes? It seems as if they just do the same damn thing OVER and OVER again... With the same damn lineup!
