We are 3 games away from record-setting futility.
-------------------------------------------------------
The Kings really ought to stop complaining about every single call that is made. Sure, we need all the help we can get, but the effect is brainwashing. Now, on every call, I am thinking as a fan how terrible it was, when most of them aren't even that bad. Ahhhh! Its frustrating.
-------------------------------------------------------
Piksi! WE MISS YOU
-------------------------------------------------------
So Bobby is out with a broken cheekbone. Probably for the rest of the season. Thats what you get for getting cheeky with the youngins. Bjax! But in all seriousness I wish him the best. He is the only player that indisputably brought that warrior mentality, and if indeed this is his last leg, he made it one hell of a season. We will be able to look back and appreciate all the impossible shots that he made, the bulldog tenacity he brought to this team, and the fact that he handled the burden of being the only veteran leader on the team. Highlights of this season? Bjax defending the crap out of Tmac. Bjax torching his old Hornets team in an inexplicable win. Bjax with as many hustle plays as his 35 year old legs could handle. Respect, Bobby.
-------------------------------------------------------
Ok. Somebody explain to Kevin that he could be the MAN on court any time he freakin wanted to. There are only like three guys in the entire NBA that can defend him effectively every possesion, them being Kobe, Lebron, and Antoine Wright. That aggressive nature he had the game in Cleveland, I'd like to see that duplicated every night. If he doesn't get a call, he just curls up into a ball for the next quarter or so. STOP IT. Go to the rack every time you get a chance and take that open shot. Trust yourself, you ninny.
-------------------------------------------------------
Kenny Natt is worse than Reggie. He keeps to himself, that is the only difference . Reggie had this team competitive. Natts team blows a ten point lead going into the fourth. At any rate, there is a nice selection of coaches on the market, and a few will want to coach here.
I hereby endorse Avery Johnson. His Mavs teams choked more because of Dirk than any other reason. Yeah, he did an awful job against Nellie when they played the Warriors, but the Warriors have always killed the Mavs.
-------------------------------------------------------
AWARD TIME
bout time these were done correctly

Mo Evans gets the TDM for scoring 12 points without anyone really noticing.

LW-Vc goes to Joe Johnson, who never plays well against Sac but somehow managed to end up with 20 points still.

JHA went to Rashad McCants for being listed at 6' 3". Someone is a liar.

SAR-Methuselah award went to Calvin Booth for just looking old.

WTF moment of the game. Fourth Quarter.
-----------------------------------------------
Kevin - Free throws are free. Don't let Raja get into your head like last time
Spence - you can barely build a square with four boards. cmon now
Noce - let make an impact
JT - you flail a lot
Cisco - okay

McCants - stronger than Spence and JT. put together
rest mateenesque
-------------------------------------------
Lets win one against the east for the gipper. (bjax).

And thus it was written in The Book of Sherman:

Yea, though the mighty Kings came to the land of Charlotte to smite the evil feline, the leader Natt decided to rest the brave Martin and the fighter from afar, Nocioni, and save the crusaders to fight another day.

Screwed? Au contraire. We're resting Kevin and Andres so they'll be fresh for the rest of the road trip AND we're pretty much helping Gerald Wallace, for whom we have much love, get his team closer to the #8 seed.

:p

Well screwed as in a chance to beat an eastern conference team. I really don't want to set that record. I am rooting for G-Wal and the Cats to make some noise and make the playoffs thoe. :)

Dude, have you looked at some of the records the old Kings hold? There are worst things than not beating an eastern conference team.. :p

Woooo we suck! and the sad thing is i dont even care when we lose anymore.:(
I don't care when we lose as long as the kids are getting some time to get past the apprentice stage AND the guys that are going to be here next year are gaining valuable experience playing together. We're gonna lose; what lessons we can learn from it are what we need to focus on IMHO.

Seeing Gerald injured again just about breaks my heart. I too truly pray he's gonna be okay but it sure didn't look good...

You know, if the Bobcats lose this game they have nobody but themselves (and Larry Brown) to blame for it. It was rather blatantly obvious that they did not consider us a threat at all, and so were content just to play their crappy backups and play their crappy backups, and no matter how badly they played they were just going to leave them out there because hey, the Kings are no threat. And then your best (and injury prone) player goes down, and instead of having a 12-15 point lead like you should have if you had had been playing the game rather than the opponent's record, now instead you have a 4pt lead and no cushion. Be one thing if they were a true rebuilding team like Memphis or something -- then maybe they would be "teaching" their becnh guys how to play. But this is a Bobcats team that has traded for veteran after veteran and is supposed to be trying to make a push for that #8 seed. In that situation you don't toy with ANY team, no matter how lousy.

Honestly, I'd rather see KT over Booth. I guess Diogu must have a broken heart since he's getting less PT compared to a 30 y/o journeyman.

How's McCants been doing?

I didnt know the the bobcats had a female color 'girl'. Shes not bad.. adds something different to the game.

LMAO, the bobcats play by play guy call Cisco FERNANDO Garcia ..

Now would be a good time for that assistant coach to do that finger rap on Cisco before he does anything really stupid.
