Kings Trade

Corliss Williamson
Jason Hart ( to match salaries )

ATL Trade

Al Harrington

Kings line-up:

C:Brad Miller
PF:Harrington
SF:Peja
SG:Bonzi
PG:Bibby

ATL line-up:

C:Corliss Williamson
PF: Marvin Williams
SF: Josh Smith
SG: Childress
PG: Lue

I think it makes sence for both teams ATL gets there center and we get a solid player that could help us

Is this a good trade for us?

I was wondering the same thing.

Then I moved on and started wondering why Atlanta would make a trade in which Corliss Williamson would become their starting CENTER.

Well a trade like this could also happen during the Trading dead-line.

This is a terrible thread. Not because of the idea of trading Corliss and the team's only reliable back up pg. It's the fact that someone legitimatley would think Corliss (at 6'5, forget his program height of 6'7) is a center.

This would never happen.

Way to go out on a limb, Kings 113.

Well, it's just ridiculous from Atlanta's POV. Also, Corliss/Hart isn't enough for a player like Harrington.

Besides, Corliss wouldn't be playing center much at all, or starting. When they have Zaza Pachulia and Esteban Batista, who were brought in to play that spot, and are, ya know, actually tall.

That's the worst trade idea I have EVER seen. Sorry, but when you come up with a trade, its usually something that both teams benefit from. So what do we do with thomas and SAR?? And why in the world would atlanta want corliss at center?? Where's our backup PG??

...and monkeys could fly out of my arse too. as other posters have already noted Corless is undersized at the 4 to start (or even play) him at the 5 a team would have to be so desperate for an inside player that they realy have no hope of wining anything. Teams do not routinly trade their very good palyers for indiscriminate collections with matching sallerys. With out hart the Kings then would be expecting Ronny Price to taek the helm when Bibby sits... uh yeah. Moreover as much as folks want to complain about the Kings starters loosing games it's the bench that is failing miserably so you are advocating trading the one bench palyer that has won the 6th man award and that NO ONE worrys about bucking up when called in or whineing about PT when he is not... This also means moving Reef the most productive starter on the squad to the bench... way to fix all the solid spots and leave all the holes (and a few new ones).

Maybe in fantasy NBA. Otherwise, no.

umm.... if you trade corliss and hart to atl, why isnt sar in the starting lineup? and isnt harrington a sf?

and why isnt johnson in the hawks starting lineup? why hasnt anyone picked up on that yet?

I think because no one has actually paid the trade idea any real attention.

But - that is pretty freaking hilarious.

Maybe you don't think the trade is a good idea, but is that any reason to ridicule and bash the poster himself? Gosh, give the guy a break. At least he had the guts to start a discussion.
