Kings at 9

I’d have to think tied for 8th is the most likely at this point?

the Kings are going to have a tough one against the Jazz no matter who they sit.

the New Orleans All Stars (you know, the team with a generational talent and another star) will almost certainly lose to the Lakers

The no pick bulls will probably pull an upset against either the Bucks or Nets.

so the Kings and Nawlins lose and the bulls win one of two.
Good call. Your predictions have improved ;)

The 3-way tie is now achieved.

There will be a coin flip of some sort for pre-lottery position. The lotto combos will be split between the three teams evenly (so 45 combos each). We will have about a 20.3% chance of moving up into the top-4.
got to question what the hell the Bulls were thinking? They cost them self 1/3 of a chance and potentially 2 draft spots if they lose the coin flips.

the real question was what the hell was OKC doing. that last win i believe got them tied of 4th instead of tied for 3rd. All that tanking and they get a meaningless win to get them OUT of the top 3

which makes it even dumber!
They may not have seen much difference between about 20% and about 26% chance of keeping their pick. Also, the Bucks rested all their starters because the game was meaningless for them, and the Bulls presumably didn't have a good excuse to follow suit.

The "Sim Lottery" button seems to be rigged for Kings fans - in about 20 tries they bestowed the Kings the #1 at least 5 times. Of course #10 was the most common at about 8 times.

Kings get a "D" for tanking - done right they could've been where the Raptors are now. - 11% better chance at a top 4 -- not dynamite but measurable.

My Most Coveted player -Mobley. Better chanced coveted player: Kuminga.......mock drafts still have Kings going after Scottie Barnes, Franz Wagner, or Jalen Johnson..

the Bulls didn’t play Lavine or Vuc so they weren’t desperate for a win either. I’m just glad they pulled it off!

id give us a B- or C+ for tanking. When we really started to tank, 6 was a real long shot so our best chance was 7. Considering we could have dropped to 10-11, i think tied for 8th is decent or a little better than that considering the kings could have really KANGZ'd it up. We beat the lakers and mavs, had a chance at making the playins, and only dropped 1 spot from our best case scenario considering we didnt do a thunder and start the tank in march.

depends how the coin flips play out.

A 30% improvement over 20%???
Probably not the right way to look at it. Really, it's a 6% improvement over 20%. Otherwise, you get absurdities like saying that if they could go from 0.5% to 1.5%, that this would be a 300% improvement and therefore 10 times more desirable than improving from 20% to 26%.

his availability could well depend on a couple coin flips.
And how many teams go after 1s and 2s. For me, Wagner isn't ideal, but would not mind as the 10th pick going for a defensive specialist. He reminds me of Wally Szerbiak but with defensive upside swapped in for offense. Barnes looks like a good energy player. Wasn't quite as enthused with Johnson.

I like Wagner - give me a guy who cares about defense over offensive splash. Especially for this Kings team
And he plays a position of need. A semi developed role player like him will actually make this team better next year. I think there are more talented prospects but the opportunity for pure talent to shine is slim with this roster right now. Unless someone major drops he'd be a really good get at this point.

The team wasn't trying to tank, they were trying to make the playoffs. So for that they get an F.
Since the bar was so low, they let ten teams in and 33 wins would have likely done it - 32 if we had beaten the Spurs, I'm going to downgrade the F to an F-MINUS.

Anywho, as long as we have Fox, we're going to finish 6-8 at WORST. Tanking is never going to happen. We're capped out, nobody wants to trade for Bagley or Buddy. We might lose our 3rd or 4th best player over the last 2 seasons for nothing. There is one thing we could change that might actually improve things all around and it appears we are unwilling to do that.

We are in permanent purgatory.

Lotto gods please save us.

They only get an ‘F‘ from fans that were absent from integrity class and don’t have an understanding about the spirit of competition.

I’m betting the vast majority of these fans don’t pay for season tickets every single year or buy tickets to many games.
