I'd love to have Knight, just a shame that the lottery went so badly. I think he's going to be a better player than most people imagine. He'd bring alot of intangibles to the Kings - most importantly a huge work ethic and professionalism.

yeah we're not getting him unless we move up somehow. I had such high hopes for the lottery...not only didn't move up, but instead slided back 2 draft slots to #7! now we just going to have to settle for drafting a role player unless Petrie finds another gem.

I get the impression Petrie's looking to move up. What do you guys think it would take to get the #3 pick out of utah's hands?

Why would anybody suggest trading Thornton at this point? we just got the guy and he's shown us quite a nice amount of good and efficient games in the 2 and half months he's been here so slow down there. He's not going anywhere.

I don't think anyone is suggesting we trade Thornton. It was a question of what would it take to get up in the Draft.

Culpepper

I have seen Culpepper, being from El Paso and everything. He reminds me of a Kemba Walker in the fact is much a ball dominant guard. I don't know if that really fit into Floy'ds style of play or that they needed Culpepper to step up this last year because he was the only true star. The years before Culpepper played with a high scoring two guard named
Stefon Jackson. Culpepper is great offensively similar to Barrea, can score find open lanes, pass, finish, etc. His defense is good, but Culpepper is more of an offensive player.

Yeah, I think he was forced to carry the load offensively this season for UTEP. I only got to see him play a few times, and the Walker comparison is a pretty good one. I think he's a slightly better outside shooter than Walker. He's certainlly quick enough to test Fredette defensively in their workout tomorrow.

According to Fredette's twitter, he felt it went well and everyone there competed. So it seems like he's happy with how he performed. Hopefully kingsflix will have the video of the workout up soon.

Jim Crandell regarding a brief view of the Jimmer workout..

Got 2 C bout 15 mins of Kings workout..overall sloppy w/6 guys on floor..Fredette can create space & get shot off..story at 10PM
Also saw a tweet from Channel 10 and they will have video after the Finals game. I'm sure we'll see some good stuff here shortly though.
