King Tut moving on... Farewell, Brian!!!

awwwww im going to miss you king tut!

partly becauase of your decent play in your limitedf minutes here (with great plays as well with that block on marion as well as that block on kenyon martin wow! to bad it was called for a foul...)

but ill miss you mainly because of the way u made me laugh with ur pharaoh like appearance hahaha!

good luck in portland brian!!!!

A couple things I'd like to thank Brian Skinner for:

Giving 100% effort when he played.
The block on Marion.
Playing well when Brad went down last year.
Being a good person in general.

I'll miss having Brian on the team, I always thought he deserved more PT. I don't get why he never got to play this season, he was a good locker room presence and a decent player. Bye Brian:( , good luck in Portland.

Brian,
I still remember when I first heard those words "blocked by" again followed by your name. I'm sorry we didn't get to see you play more. You always put 100% in when you were on the floor.

Best of luck to you in your future.

Hope things go great for you in Portland, Skinner. I'll have fond memories of your time as a King (Marion block:eek: ) and I hope you'll have fond memories of Kings fans.:)

Brian, you will always be loved in Sacramento. That is how we feel about the good ones that get away. Good luck to you!!

King Tut was is also known as the "boy king"....Well there is nothing "boy" about Brian. I wish him good luck in Portland.
Having heard his voice on a local radio commercial, Makes me certain that if he so desires, there is a future in the media after his BBall days are through.
KD///

Well I will Brian if for no other reason than he was with out a doubt the most intelligent and well spoken King during interviews! Guress they will have to just go to Brad now;)

Bye Brian! I always loved the way you played in SacTown. And as for Potapenko and Monia, like on Mr. Conan O'Brien's first episode, YOU GUYS BETTER BE GOOD!!!!!

Good luck Brian! Thought you deserved more playing time, but I hope Portland works out well for you. I'll miss your defense and energy. Thanks for always giving 100% when you put on the purple and black!

Man:mad: , Skinner was my only shot blocker on NBA 2K6!

Oh well, Good luck.

I have Brad Miller averaging 11 blocks a game on NBA Live 06 on my PSP while running the 2-3 zone:eek: !

Anyways, good luck Brian!!

I'm so glad this thread is still going. I hope that Brian has a chance to read it, and know how much the fans here appreciated him. He worked hard, and played hard. He never complained, he just did what was asked of him. And, based on my one short meeting with him, he seemed like a nice guy! I know he was somewhat limited in production here as a result of lack of playtime, and I hope that he is better utilized on his new team.

Really appreciated Brian Skinner from the get go - providing a sorely needed defensive presence (and some offensive help as well) during his brief campaign here in Sac. Add my name to the mix of fans wishing him well. Glad to see so many others at KF honoring the guy. He had game....

Jeez - I go out of town and they change things again. Brian is an awesome player - I loved his attitude from the first time he set foot on our courts - and he blocks! Not to mention, I thought he was pretty good looking too. Sigh.

Maybe on your PSP

But on PS2 it's not that easy with Brad

Good luck Brian !!! You averaged 6 Blocks in my Dynasty ;)

Nice to see Brian play well against his former teammates shooting 7-11, 3-6 for 17 pts and 11 rebounds in 31, count em, 31 minutes. Does not matter that he is going from team to team or whether he is a superstar. What matters is that he does have impact on the court and just couldn't get enough time w/ the Kings. Really liked the guy. Wishing him well in Portland where it sounds he will get lots of time on the floor. Socrates, be well, enjoy. Loved having you for that short time that we did...

Sorry it's kind of late, but good-bye Brian. You were absolutely awesome to have here in Sacramento. It was really fun watching you, and thanks for all the effort you gave us. Good luck in Portland!!!!!

And yes, and don't forget the greatest snuff of all time on Shawn Marion. That was pure classic and it has Skinner's name and signature all over it. One for the ages...Socratic.
