Meanwhile Arizona out in San Jose laying the wood to the Razorbacks
They apparently have one guy who plays D but otherwise Arkansas comes as advertised. Although if they start making some 3s they could still make a game of it.

If UNC trolls are the only thing I have to worry about this weekend I'll be a happy dude.

At the end of the game Flemings was bent over crying. You could actually see some tears falling onto the hardwood. Then on the way to the locker room with his teammates he was still looking heart broken. He's only 19.

I really thought they were a top 4 team and deserved the 4th 1 seed. Impressive performance by Illinois and I definitely like Flemings though I won't go so far as to say I'm gutted for him.

There's a part of me that isn't super happy to see a player unable to control himself like that. We all remember how great Adam Morrison was in the league. Acuff may have walked off with his head slumped, but he dealt with it like a man.

I'm not as sure about Cam after watching some of this Duke/St Johns (granted only a few mins) in terms of the generational hype.... what position will he be playing defensively (in terms of the modern pf)? But he's very young and is talented, not sure

Iowa State and Houston combine to make me look stupid.
Yeah, Houston always lets me down in the tourney. Iowa St without Jefferson is not the same. That being said, I still feel the top of Big 12 was elite. Injuries derailed BYU, Texas Tech as well. I’ll be rooting for Arizona to go all the way now. Feel like they’ve been consistently the best team all year, great depth all around, elite guard play.

It's honestly tough for me to choose between their first Final Four squad with Sean Elliott and the 96-97 title squad as my favorite Cats team all time but if they get it done it won't even be close who my #1 is. Just a joy to watch, and while quite a few of their guys can make a 3, the inside power game is something else. I also love that any question about FT disparity is resolved when you look at their shot charts.
