any questions?

he needs more minutes..a huge reason we won was because of him..

Thompson and Brockman did an amazing job together, but Brockman played his *** off. If this doesn't get him more minutes, nothing will.

I'm having a hard thinking why in the world hawes is getting so many minutes? I mean even if ordinary fans realise that it's not right why Westphall doesn't?! Comeon coach you're not that bad!
Brockman FTW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Coach Paul just gave credit to Sergio, Beno, Udoka, and then of course Tyreke. But he saved the last and biggest praise for Brockman saying his toughness started the momentum and got the other involved for VICTORY! The largest comeback on the road in NBA history!! WOW!!!

No freaking questions whatsoever. Coach should start him for the next three games because of what he did out there tonight. He was HUGE.

Amazing what desire and hustle do when it comes to rebounding. He had a couple of offensive rebounds late that won the game for the Kings.

Are we comfortable with him starting at PF for the rest of the season?
I think Brockman should remain as our secret weapon when things just aren't clicking for our big men. I wouldn't mind though if FOR NOW we use him as our guy for the 3 -man rotation ( Hawes, Thompson, Brockman ) at the 4 and 5, or until we get that elusive defensive center that we need.

I like Brockman coming off the bench. He is a fantastic change of pace from Hawes. Hawes game is position and skill. Jon's game is strength, toughness and fierce determination. He hammers guys when he fouls them. Trust me it makes a difference, few people like pain and Jon delivers it.

The play where he walked away with the missed free throw epitomizes Brockmans game. He played a large role in the greatest sporting come back I have ever watched!

Game ball to Coach Westphale for this one. Very unorthodox 5 on floor in 4th but it worked...................... speechless :D

One of the things I like best about Brockman is that he puts his arms up. He actually plays ... gulp ... DEFENSE! I like having a middle linebacker on the Kings. :p

It will work just fine on this team lacking options on the front court. Most credits should be given to Westphal who's style of coaching some fans described "indirectly" as something a coach should not be doing. I remember a know-it-all post even likened this style of coaching as playing fantasy NBA2K. :D

What a surprize! It is not the conventional way that only work!

Bbgfap

It looks like this team will be contending in the near future. There are many roles to fill on a top-flight NBA team; the one I think Brockman might be a fit for is Backup Big Guy From Another Planet (BBGFAP). The Kings of a few years ago had one of the greats in this role -- Scot Pollard. I'd say that Birdman Anderson in Denver is probably #1 at the moment. Dennis Rodman started out here before becoming a starter. Kurt Rambis / Clark Kent with the Showtime Lakers. The Knicks of the early 70s had Phil Jackson. I'm sure there are others I can't think of at the moment.

So could Brockman be the BBGFAP? Loves to bang inside -- check. Occasionally mind-boggling rebounding numbers -- check. 110% every time -- check. Fan favorite / contributes to team spirit -- check. Just not sure if he's weird enough. A couple of times at games this year they started playing the disco music to get people to dance for the camera, and they showed Brockman dancing on the big screen -- I see some potential there.

He also does a mean Karaoke.

:p

His duet of "American Pie" with Hawes is truly one for the ages.

Brock just needs to work on his dribbling and shooting skills a bit, then at 6'7" we can play him as a full-sized SG next to Reke and have the best rebounding back court in history :D
