Embiid is an interesting prospect. He's a senior in highschool this year in Florida. Here's the interesting part. He's only played basketball for one year, and yet he's being recruited by Louisville, Kansas, Florida and Vanderbilt amongst others. He's originally from Cameroon and he only move to the united states two years ago. He's a legit 7 footer who weighs 235 pounds and has a big frame.
He attended several of the highschool camps for the top players and blew most scouts away with his natural ability. So far he hasn't committed to a school, and he still has plenty of time. One would think that Florida had the inside line since thats where he lives now, and he's also far from his original home. But rumors are he's leaning toward Pitino and Louisville.
