Hearing Tyreke Evans is working out w/ Petrie. Doesn't sound like actions of someone Petrie is trying to trade. Hear Reke is in good shape

I would have to agree with Jason Jones... looks like Geoff is committed to Evans, and it would take a blockbuster in our favor to pry away Evans

Geoff wasn't a bad player so this is also good news vs Evans working out with just his brothers again...

Geoff wasn't a bad player so this is also good news vs Evans working out with just his brothers again...

It makes sense. If you pick the guy you should do everything in your power to have that investment pay off. Doesn't exactly redound to your favor if the guy doesn't live up to the high pick. Don't necessarily buy into this takes a trade off the table though. Petrie can see it as win-win. He either improves his value for the Kings in his play next year or he improves his trade value. Either way, he wins. Very unfortunate Petrie wasn't involved like this early on, but better late than never. I'd like to know how often Petrie is working out with him and how much time is being put in.
