Haven't seen you around lately, KG; where you been hiding?

...
Yes, I'm bitter.
Purple Reign said:I have huge mixed feelings about the Whisnant situation. Once again, the way that this situation is being handled, the timing is all wrong for the Monarchs. It seems like the Maloofs have become good at making questionable decisions lately at odd times.
I think the world of Coach Whisnant and I think he will be fine with the Kings. I do not blame him for any of this. How many of us would turn down millions of dollars to coach a child's game. I hope the Kings choose someone else, but Whisnant can and will get the job done in Kings land.
As far as the Monarchs are concerned......
.....I do not want Coach T period. He is a buffoon.
I just dont get that Ambers or Schuman are head coach material. So I think the Monarchs are screwed for this year anyway you look at it, and that is ashamed.
He has not only been a successful coach -- managing to convince professional athletes to buy into playing defense -- but a very astute general manager, and he won the WNBA title last year. (An aside: Connecticut Sun supporters mention every chance they get that they coulda/shoulda/woulda won the WNBA title if Lindsay Whalen hadn't been hurt; the Monarchs' injuries were worse, and had DeMya Walker and Ticha Penicheiro been 100% for the playoffs, it very likely wouldn't have mattered if Whalen were healthy.)
Yay, I'm glad someone put it in print. Thanks MMB. I'm taking my brother and his wife to the Storm game tonight. They're from out of town, so I choose to offer them only the best.the Monarchs' injuries were worse, and had DeMya Walker and Ticha Penicheiro been 100% for the playoffs, it very likely wouldn't have mattered if Whalen were healthy.
She's in town at least once a season so I'm not sure why all of a sudden she needed an introduction. My guess is that since her sister [Heidi] is on the Seattle staff, she made the trip down.

I really don't like Lauren Jackson, she's a terrible sport and she should have been kicked out of the game after two instances that should have been technicals.
