Didn't I already draft this (See pick #5)? Are we really able to just change the words around to make it seem like we're drafting something "similar, but different"?

In your scenario you drafted loved ones who will share the same fate as you (being tortured/living on the same horrid island as you); I have chosen that a loved one will die each day; I see those two as totally different things. What do the mods think?

How is your pick that much different than mine? I request a re-pick...So far I have become imprisoned in a 4'x4'x4' steel cell, kept alive by consuming raw sewage, and tormented with electric shocks and psychedelic crises by Cthulhu the Lord of Extreme Horror and Evil. How could things get much worse? Well, unfortunately I am not alone. I am given daily video updates of the rest of my family and friends who were also taken to the island and are being tormented daily. For my 5th pick, I select:
Family and Friends Sharing my Fate (In Similar Cells)
This footage is played randomly through a projection tube onto a wall, showing the most barbaric brutality, as Cthulhu and his maniacal minions torment, abuse, defile, and murder my family members, and anyone I have ever known and loved. Most are in similar cells as me, and I have to watch as they waste away, day after day, knowing that there is nothing I can do to help them. Try as I might, it is also impossible to contact them as they have no knowledge of my imprisonment. Talk about pain and misery!

Interesting idea, but the sum parts of your island (same fate + Squidward) do not equal precluding my single pick. It is like saying, you cannot choose having diarrhea as a pick because I have dirty Mexico water and no medical facilities for my island. See how that you get the same effect, but it is not the same thing.

Since you yourself are banned from dying "sharing my fate" would be family members clinging to dear life, drinking and eating raw sewage in their 4X4X4 cage. Miserable yes.
You are personally not being murdered in your box, but just horribly horribly tortured.
I always saw your pick as your family and friends waste away, but not die.
As of now the pick stands, if there are 2 more challenges by other drafters who think the picks are the same, EndGame will have to do a makeup pick.

That may be how "you" saw and interpreted my pick, but that is wrong. My choice is more than just the title of my pick, but the info in the body of the pick posting as well. While I myself am not being killed, I do mention that my family and friends are in fact being tormented, abused, defiled and killed (murdered). That is the same thing that endgame drafted, so I think he should re-pick!
If you can just change the wording around, then maybe I'll have to draft obnoxious Laker's fans, because annoying Laker's fans were already taken!

I disagree. The wording is completely ambiguous. I am frankly tired of people taking nearly identical picks as I do. I drafted raw sewage, then MKF drafted urine. Somehow that was different? I drafted solitary confinement in a subterranean box, and GW#3 drafts permanently being locked in a sauna. Now this pick too?
Can I just make up whatever I want now? I'm thinking of drafting a pain droid who can continually torment me in any way imaginable, but someone would probably just copy that too!

As just a innocent onlooker and future voter, I don't think any of those picks are identical. I also feel that if you wanted your family members to die - you should have clarified that in the title. After all, they are SHARING your fate.
Also, IMO - Commish has spoken. You can't just hold a draft hostage because you're unhappy with the ruling.
But this is just my opinion, take it for what you will.

I am not saying the issue is over; it will continue to be debated. but I fail to see how that pick in any way messes up your current pick.

So after watching my mother get brutally raped and murdered this morning, I'm in a pretty bad mood. To top it off, I've just realized that my 4'x4'x4' prison box is moving! With my 7th pick I select:
Constantly Falling Down Moving Escalator Stairs
Apparently, Cthulhu wanted me to have ample amounts of emotional, mental, and physical pain and torment on this island. He installed a 100m long escalator in the catacombs (moving at varying speeds) that my prison cell continually falls down. Once I reach the bottom it only takes about a minute to reach the top and begin the descent all over again. The impacts are jarring, painful, sudden, and unending. The fibromyalgia magnifies the pain of impact 10 fold, and doubles the time it takes to recover from the impacts. I am able to brace myself to minimize the smashing impact of the falls, but unfortunately, I weaken quickly with the fibromyalgia and bad drug trips, so I cannot brace myself indefinitely.
Cthulhu has contrived a way to cycle the falls, so that once I reach the top I am sent careening back down again, only to be lifted back up to be tossed again! I am constantly disoriented as I am sent flipping and careening down the passage way at various angles and velocities (and the bad drug trips add to this effect). Think unending airplane turbulence with flips and crashes! The raw sewage gets all over the place, and makes the most godawful, foul mess you can imagine. It is also VERY hard to ever fall asleep, let alone get any rest!

Yes, my island is infested by the man himself, and he doesn't like me. Several times a day he will leap from the bushes where he has concealed himself and kick my ***. He especially likes to ambush me when I try to get some sleep. Frankly I'd ratehr be stuck with Cthulu.

Alright, now that the environment of my island is already quite far along the way, let's turn to some sort of occupation. I mean, plain and simple boredome is, especially on an island like this, quite bad, but there's worse. With the seventh pick of the draft, the selection shall be the Sisyphean Task.
For those of you unaware of the myth: Sisyphus was the king of Corinth and basically involved himself in some, admittedly rather awesome, shenanigans that pissed Zeus off majorly. After having deceived countless gods for a long time, he was finally caught and sentenced to the famous punishment: For all eternity he must carry a huge rock up a steep hill, but before he reaches the top, the rock will always roll down, forcing him to start all over again.
This punishment has basically become the denominator for frustrating and unfulfilling work, but I want the classic. So every day for the rest of my life, I will be forced to roll a bloody great rock up a bloody large and steep hill, the success of the enterprise will vary, so that there always is hope that I might actually succeed, but I never will.

hmm, what to pick.
I guess I'll go with my food with this pick ..
I'll be honest, this animal im about to draft terrifies me. Im relatively hard to scare when it comes to the wild. I love Tigers, Lions and all that jazz, spiders dont bother me .. Bee's get to me a little bit, but none of them have the affect that this creature has on me. For my food I draft The Octopus
The thought of hunting this beast is making me cringe as I type. Im sure I'll hate the taste too, as I have a wierd hatred for all sea food ( I know people that think lobster is the greatest food of all time .. people in Boston cant get enough of it!) The closest thing I eat to sea food is the occasional Fish Stick or Filet - O - Fish from McDonalds .. and Im pretty sure neither of them are made from real fish.
So in order to keep myslef alive, I have to go down into the sea and hunt this bad larry .. then eat it raw .. dammit.
I guess I'll go with my food with this pick ..

Another thing I hate ( although it doesnt happen often ) is when my hair gets pulled. Growing up there were about 8 or so other boys in my house every monday night to watch some good old wrestling. Of course this ment we would mimic these guys every move ... to put it simply, we would fight alot. Hair pulling had a major role in our wrestling, and it hurt like hell. So with my next pick, I select constant ripping out of my hair ( grows back almost instantly so it can happen again) This will also most likely be done by Gilbert.

I pick Al Davis (The much maligned old version) to be the ultimate overseeer in how my island runs.
Much like with he's done to his beloved Raiders he will be doing the same thing to his newest 'beloved' acquisition, Al Davis Island.
What Al Davis says, by gum, it happens.
He has the power to come to my island and give MANDATORY state of the island speeches as he sees fit, and can just show up at any time to tell me what to do, and I MUST comply, no matter how laughably inept the task is, lest I feel the wrath of the Al Davis.
For when he is in his office somewhere high above his island,
This pick also includes thousands and thousands of "What would Al do?" and "Commitment to Excellence" and "Al is watching you" propaganda billboards with his creepy zombie looking face...
