He played well in isolated spurts but was pretty ineffective overall, especially offensively. With a new coach and changes to the team, who knows how he'll play this year, but not many folks were very impressed with his play last year....

Basically right. Hart didn't turn out as he was thought to be, and obviously wasn't a fit in Adelman's system.

If Hart stays around, he'll be used sometimes as a tenacious team-playing guard off the bench. Would add extra depth in relation to pressure defense as well.

The things I remember most about Jason Hart are ill-advised shots and turnovers at critical junctures. I just don't see him having the point guard mentality...

I don't think he has the mentality to be in the NBA at all. i think his destination should be playing in Europe if i was the Kings i'd trade him for a 2nd round pick and that will be gold, cause we get rid of Hart and we get a pick who will likely end up better then Hart.

That its a lot harder to build a team when you have to start dishing out monster contracts. By that time comes you would hope to have pieces in order.
