is there an intensity and passion in the kings now... just by reading the threads and the way the outcome of the games have been lately(our only 2 losses lately have been hard fought, down to the last second type games) it seems as if they're playing with a desire and a passion and with intensity....

I think even more than intensity there's a confidence and a camraderie developing that can only get better as time goes on...

I know one thing for sure. It's fun to watch them again and I couldn't say that earlier this month.

:D

I disagree, piksi. It might be too early to tell if it's going to last, but there has been a difference - be it passion, intensity, confidence, etc. - clearly present in the last few games.

Charlotte Bobcats. At Arco.

All of 4 days ago we had zero intensity. Nada. And almost got beat by just about the worst team in the league in our own house.

Bah! after a game like this there really is noting to complain aobut, sure it's early, it's only one game, the cats are not a good tema blah, blah, blah BUT it was a very strong game, the Kings played THEIR game and did not drop to the competions level jsut nothing really to complain about here tonight.

No, but it is too early to tell if its a trend, given that as of right now its basically a one game trend. Played one of our least intense games, and one of our most back to back against similarly weak opponents at home. What does it mean? Does it mean anything? Who knows.

We lacked intenstity in Seattle.
We really lacked intensity for 3/4 vs. the Spurs, but then made a great run with a very intense 4th.
We had good intensity vs. the Nets.
We had terrible intensity vs. the Raptors.
We had good intensity tonight.

Up, down, all around. At least not down in the dumps every game anymore, but I'm not sure where the trend is as a team (Bonzi is bringing it every night, and Bibby is a scoring machine right now).

Kings have looked better no question about it, however it's way too early to say the intensity is here to stay. Tomorrow will be a great test though... if the intensity isn't there, it'll be real ugly. :)

So in other words we have to win by 10+ points to have had "intensity"?

Agreed. it's still early, Tomorrow is a true test and I think if we don't bring it, we are likely to get annihalted by the well rested Warriors. I just hope it's competetive.

I haven't had chance to keep up but some intensity is better than none, hopefully we can keep it up but it's better than what they have been showing and I'll take it.

No, in other words you have to have intensity to have intensity. Winning does NOT equal intensity. Losing does NOT equal lack of intensity. Some games everyone is focused, hustling, not making careless/stupid plays, attentive on defense etc. Some games they are not. My list above was pretty obvious I think.

Every team plays flat at one time or another. You could say the Spurs went flat in the 4th quarter against the Kings. Good teams can work through it and still find a way to win.

Don't expect players to play 100% for 90 games over 8 months every year. Almost every player has flat games.
