I don't get the hold up it's a super cheap contract? We signed Ray Mac pretty much instantly last year to a cheap 3 year deal and Moreland has as much potential/quality traits as Ray, the longer this goes the more I think we are not going to sign him.

Some of the holdup could be that Moreland performed well enough his agent has actually been able to play teams off against each other and start a low level bidding war, and is trying to extract extra years or guaranteed money from it.

May not be the case, but certainly a possibility. Everywhere but Sacramento guys who can protect the rim are highly valued.

And I agree with Brick. I wouldn't doubt at all that he got at least 5 offers from different teams, if not more. There isn't a team in the NBA that wouldn't want a 5th development big like Moreland. Which kinda sucks for us,

While he was able to tweet that a decision has been made, I'm pretty sure whichever team he signed with will be the one making the announcement. And for any doubters? I'm pretty sure that's his real Twitter account. All you have to do is scroll back to early June before he had any comments about the Kings. It's not like typical troll or fake accounts, to which I'm sure Bricklayer could attest. :p

There's no way Cuz would follow him if he didn't just pick sac. I'm assuming they might have met up in LA? Cuz obviously wanted Moreland on the team.

Not to mention pretty much all of his replies and retweets have been Kings related. I'd be shocked/extremely pissed if we didn't sign him
