I think the one thing we did get was some shotblocking presence in there with all the guys, even K9. When guys drive in and have to worry about them/alter their shots it makes it easier for Brad to get those weak side blocks, I even saw Cat get one! The Cool thing is we look faster, and thats something we don't get when Tag is in there.

K9 can NOT, under any circumstances, block a shot. He's roughly as effective at that as Darius. Its called being short. And Corliss is even worse.

He's quick to get in front of his man or someone elses and it helps other guys get in position thats all. A hand in the face makes a guy pause/alter his shot, Our interior D maybe smaller but they are more athletic thats for sure. Maybe I shouldn't have said our shotblocking was better cuz it's not. It's just that I think we have more speed which will allow us to play better Team D, which is all this team can hope for.

As has been stated many times before on these boards, what were the circumstances of those wins w/o Webber vs. the losses w/ him? Who else was injured when Webber came back last year? Who were we playing? Were teams playing with a little more urgency after the All-Star break vs. before. What were the records of the teams we played against this year without CWebb? And last of all, what is our record in the playoffs without Cwebb versus with him? Who was the most important player in both playoff series last year? If your answer starts with a C and ends with a hris Webber, you are correct.

well i do remember the kings did beat the spurs in SA, the lakers in LA, and the pistons in detroit last year with out webber, for what thats worth.

We seem to be able to win without anybody (except maybe Bobby) consistantly. I think that's more about our coaching staff then anything else.

Are you trying to be funny by just regurgitating Ailene Voisons' garbage columns? How can you say Bobby being out had nothing to do with it? Webber came back last season, Adelman gave him minutes to get ready for the playoffs. At the same time Bobby went down for the year and Miller also got hurt. Those are two major factors that so often get overlooked as people ignorantly blame Webber for the teams struggles. Not to even mention that the scedule got alot harder down the stretch last year. Another thing commonly left out is how much better Webber played in the playoffs than Peja.
