I demand George Karl is fired

If the problem is Karl then we have to fire him. End of Story.

I think that Karl may have asked for the Kings to trade DMC and Vlade said NO. At that point, I think Karl was okay with that decision.

I believe that once PDA left, he leaked this trade request to DMC's camp and that pissed DMC camp off.

Karl was never going to be a long term solution. It was more about winning some games and setting the course for future success, once he retires.

IF Karl can not co-exist with the Franchise player, then the Coach needs to go.

This is a Players League and Coaches can be hired and fired.

I remember Vlade saying something along the lines of not having Karl intervene in his decision making maybe two weeks ago...so if Vlade does not want to trade Cousins, that's all I really need to hear. As far as Karl is concerned, even before he was hired and a lot of us were vouching to bring him in, we knew that he clashed with a lot of players in his days. I guess we as fans can't go a single week anymore without hearing another thing about this team and how much lower can low get. This is really tiresome, being a fan of a sports team shouldn't be this frustrating and disheartening, it's like being trapped in a psych ward and they keep force feeding you medications to keep you thinking that you're getting better when all along you're getting worse. Many lobied on here to bring him in as he was a name coach who had a solid record. Those that were adament questioned his affiliation with the denver uptempo style of play, clashes with players and somewhat egotystical demenour with it being noted that he had success previously in his career with alternative playing styles.

It is clear that what we have is Denver George Karl. He has arrived and clearly wants to morph us into a re run of his Nuggets given his recent reccomendation to trade DMC for Lawson and Faried.

Its a style of play that i dont feel suits us and its clear that Karl doesnt want to work with Demarcus to tinker his style or outright change it given we have a once in a generation type player.

Karl needs to go primarily for his unwillingness to adapt and recent attempted tinkering with the team.

There is a ready made replacement in Thibs and there wont be lost time or a feel out process with him. Demarcus and Rudy have his respect, its mutual and his style of play, plays to our strengths.

Vlade we need to build this right from the foundations or else it will collapse

I don't agree. It's his ego and inability to back down, which has been a problem his entire career. Malone knew Cousins had maturity and trust issues and while it was clear he expected a lot, he didn't try to play the power game publicly.

I know you've had a few sleepless nights leading into the draft evaluating talent etc. Stay the course and the plan, pick and trade for whoever you think will heap us in line with your vision for this team and your vision alone.

When that washes over, you need to make a strong decision regarding our coaching situation. Its clear this isnt sustainable moving forward. Karl's ego, vision for this team and Demarcus wont work together and its Demarcus that will lead us to the playoffs and bring the fans in as we look to the future and our new arena.

Call Thibs and secure his services then cut Karl. Do it with no leaks, no publicity. Karl can leave in the dead of night and we can unveil our head coach, no need to take questions about Karl's tenure at this conference. We're looking forward and not backwards and publically throwing someone under the bus isnt your style even if its well documented publically that he tried to work behind your back to trade our franchise star. So some journalist publishes the whole story without any reliable sources. Vlade clearly denies it. Karl offers to do his best to make Cousins the best player he can be.
But still people believe said journalist?
Either trust is a strange thing around Kf.com or this issue is used to create the next scapegoat, because people didnt like Karl from the start or disliked his preferred style of basketball.
I'm happy that Cousins isnt going anywhere. And I'm confident that Karl will figure out the right style of play for the Kings moving forward.
