I can breath easy again...

Lewis,AD and Fortson are all back and Vlad got his cast removed yesterday. Things are finally starting to shape up. If we can win our final 3 games heading into the playoffs then that will do our confidence a load of good.

As I've said before when we have our full players I fancy my chances against anybody but San Antonio.

Was great to see us win our first division title since 98. Took a while longer mainly due to injures but it still finally happened. After the way we had last year It is a great feeling.

Congrats to your team for winning their division.:) It does feel pretty good when you go from bad to good in such a short period of time.

If you gotta rely on Fortson then you are in trouble.....

You obviously hate Fortson, big deal but the fact remains he is a big part of our team and the energy guy we need. Without him we are not as good. That is a fact.

I completely agree with you.

Say what you want about JVG, but he's one of the best coaches ever to get a team ready going into the playoffs. JVG intends to win out! And so do all the players! There's no chance you beat Houston unless we rest TMac. You guys are toast against the Rockets.

hehehe

Exactly who is it that you are addressing? You are on a Kings board and, as things sit right now, you will be playing the Mavs. I have seen no Mavs fan in this thread. And, whether the Sonics or Kings win won't matter. You won't get out of the 1st round if you are playing the Mavs.

Good to see Rashard healthy before the playoffs are about to start. The last thing the Sonics need to worry about is one of their best players (and starters) being injured at this point in the season. It would be a big distraction not knowing if and how much he can contribute. Playoff injuries are killer, let me tell you.

This is a joke right? first off If JVG is one of the greatest coaches ever heading into the playoffs then why has he never won a title? and for the record, a heathly Sonics team beat the same Rockets team already. The only losses came when we were undermaned. Houston have a great two guard and a good center, the Sonics have a very good two guard and 4,5 very capable scorers + homecourt advantage.

Saying they have no chance as If you are some kind of NBA champion is very wrong.

ummm, I was talking to Ray Allen (the thread author). I was talking about the last game of the season, this Wednesday. I'm sure Ray Allen knows what I was talking about.

Oh, and don't underestimate the will of Houston to beat Dallas. I'll say it again; any team who relies heavily on transition points is goint to find it really hard to beat this JVG team, especailly another Texas team!

bring on Dallas! nothing could be sweeter!

The Rockets/Sonics game will basically have no real importance to us as we have won the division and even then we won't be heathly. Vlad still likely will be out.

Saying all that with our main guns back It will give me an idea of where we are heading into the post season.

^that would be a real interesting series...JVG is my fave coach in the NBA btw
I met him at a Rice University game last year, with his 6 yr old daughter. He was dressed down in sweat pants and stuff. A real regular guy.

I always forget how relatively young he is.

A solid personality. No wonder Ewing will go to war for him.

Ray Allen 34,

just talking **** to yeah...but! I have a feeling the Wednesday game will be more important to you than us. You might lose home court to the Kings....we, however, are ready for Dallas, and it is going to happen.

We can't lose homecourt to the Kings, we have 28 losses and Kings 31 with 2 games to play..It's impossible for the Kings to have a better record. That is providing we win today but even if we don't, we would have the tiebreaker over the Kings so no we can't lose homecourt against them even if we lose out.

well, anyhow, you're going to lose Wednesday. Make your 'xcuses now. Because, I have tickets. ;) Oh, and you really think you're going to beat the Kings in a 7game? Anyone got my back on that last comment. lol

alright lets not bring the Kings into this...Kings are in the same boat as the Sonics right now...vulnerable with "boo-boo's"...though we are slightly worse off at this point

Looks pretty much like were gonna face the Sonics in the first round, wonder how its gonna turn out! I cant wait.

Could feasibly go to 7 games, but I expect Seattle to take it.
