The Maloofs are more sensitive to customer service and the fans than any owner in the league and in most pro sports. But even they cannot igonore 95% fan disapproval for Whiz anymore than they can ignore his zero experience in NBA in any capacity.
Mario on the other hand, played on championship teams, is known for his defense, has been in the ranks as an assistant coach, one year a championship year with the Spurs, and has been friends with a key player for many years. He can talk the talk and walk the walk and he has a ring on his finger from the NBA. He is young like the Maloofs and has come up through the ranks like the Maloofs and is very approachable and easy to communicate with.
Henry Turner may have been all the same except for one key item: Henry was a very quiet, easy going guy. Normally not a knock but this is not a normal situation. Musselman is a question mark in my mind. Two years with the Warriors is just not a glowing endorsement.
