the kings will be getting some much needed help on the way in the next few weeks... the only question is, is it too late?... with brad and bjax expected back just in time for the playoffs, how do you all think the kings will play...

Brad can only help us. I don't think Bobby will be coming back for the first round anyways so I'm not sure he will get a chance to play, But Brad hasn't been out as long, therefore it shouldn't be as hard to adjust to him being on the court.

its impossible to predict...they may take a game or two they could click right away or they could not really click at all...who knows?

I just really hope they both come back and as soon as possible

I think it'll be alright as long as they don't try to do too much too soon. I'm really not worried about Brad...I think he'll get a lot of open looks from the elbow like he always has and be able to knock them down. Plus, we need his passing...that's what will help us out the most...we really don't need for him to score that much.

Actually in a lot of ways I think Bobby will have the easier adjustment, or at least the one likely to have fewer ripple effects. He kind of plays a self-contained game, and who is around him, and how they are playing, is not really much of a factor (nor a consideration). Brad though, if we were to use him in the role where he could actually make a difference, will have to be coming back to take a major role in running the offense, and with three guys who he has only played two total games with. Will also create a minutes crunch. Peja and Mike should be able to adjust, and Mike in particular will be happy for the reinforcements. But its going to be yet one more adjustment on the fly for the rest of the guys. Tough situation to be in come playoff time.

Cat played a lot with him to though, I dunno Brad has a real adaptable game I think but you're right, it will take an adjustment for him too. I just think we could use any kind of help at all right now the way these guys are playing, they don't seem to be "Jelling" as it is... How much could Brad hurt?

First, I'm not a doctor but if Bobby can't bend his wrist at this point I'm not sure he will be back in time to help.

I agree that Brad can only help at this point, even if he comes of the bench. If I have to watch Corliss or Darius play center again I'm switching to the Golf channel.

lol

Hmm i was thinking the GSN (the game show network)

Brad will not be running as much due to his injury, true. But coming from a person that had to endure a similar injury, it wouldn't effect much of his game. It's common for athletes to break the frial, Fibula bone. My guess is, it had something to do with tearing in the lateral Gastrocnemius muscle that lays on the Fibula bone for support. The extent of the damage depends on the location where the bone was fractured. If it involved the bigger, Tibia bone (shin bone), he would've been in more pain and it would've taken longer to heal. He'll be fine. Bone healing is crucial the first month. That was why he had to avoid exercising to let the bone tissue heal. I don't know if he had surgery like I did, but my Orthopedics surgeon told me I will heal 100% within 3 months and I broke both the tib-fib on my right leg. Biking and swimming were a part of my rehibilitation. So it will bulk up surrounding leg muscles especially around the femur to make the leg stronger. Brad will be back sooner than everyone will expect. I know I did.

Any chance his vertical will increase?

Brad should be OK. Bobby is in a TOUGH situation.
A) He's been out for sooooo long.
B) He hasn't played with half the guys on our team.
C) Eddie's been playing extremely well.

I am hopeful though that Bobby won't get down on himself if he's unable to get back this year. We need him next year :)

Brad Miller will gel in. I don't know about Bobby though.

Brad Miller has been out for a couple of weeks, but Bobby as been out since january!

Look at it this way...it will be impossible to have a scouting report on us - because who knows how we will play or even who we will play. We used to get one offensive rebound per year, now we can get 20 in a game. How can you know what I'm gonna do, when I don't even know?

Although I have heard a couple of teams mention something about "taking it inside strong" on us. In the PO's Thomas, Skinner and O-tag will hopefully have something to say about that and actually lay the lumber on some guys.

More truth than fiction here. the Kings have the potential to seriously ruin some predictions in the play offs. Of course a a wild card they also have other potentials as well.
